I dont golf but people who do have told me its a gem with an experience as good as Saratoga National at about 1/8th the cost. But I do cross country ski, and can say this is a great and free place to ski. There are miles and miles of groomed trails, nice scenery, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday a good pub open in the club house for a post ski beer and snack. The terrain is easy to intermediate. Oddly enough, when its close to the to freezing, the tiny elevation gain from I 87 to the golf course (maybe 300 feet?) makes a noticeable improvement in snow conditions. They dont see to advertise, but if they did could likely generate enough traffic to keep the pub open all week. Its a great place to ski, get out and get some exercise, see some scenery and wildlife. There is also a ski shop in Saratoga Springs (Alpen Haus) that will rent a cross country package for 14 USD if you are passing through and dont have your skis. If someone was thinking of an Adirondack cross country ski trip, skiing here and staying in Saratoga might be as good and less driving than going to someplace like Lake Placid. And better restaurants.

I love this Course. Long Tom is a great hole. Extremely quiet course, you can hear wildlife and really zone in on your shots. Im not going to recommend a day to go so I can get a better tee time then you! Love it

Not just for golf! Good trail system, great cross country skiing, and pavilions for parties. They also have a restaurant on site but I havent tried it yet.

Fun course, fairways could be better. Greens were a nice challenge. Local wildlife(deer) always around in the morning which is a nice site.

$18 for twilight golf with a cart is a deal you cant beat. Playing from the blues makes the course tricky enough to enjoy.
