Olmsteds masterpiece. From the huge fields and golf course in the Eastern part to the pond and museums in the West, its magnificent. The most remarkable part to me is the sense of privacy that the rolling landscaping lends you around the walking tails near the pond. Shakespeare in the Park is also a staple experience of Buffalo in the summer, and its stage is located in the "natural" amphitheater near the rose gardens, so theres that! So much to love here.

Sprawling, beautiful, and with lots of activities. Golf, strength training, basketball, cycling loop, running, tennis, model boats, the Buffalo zoo, and the Albright-Knox Art Museum are all available to you! Parking can be right near the zoo, but going over to the tennis courts and walking over to the main park area is a perfect way to avoid all that.

This park is HUGE! Theres a whole zoo inside. A great area for walking or jogging. Theres entertainment in the summer and you can watch a great Rugby game during the season. Theres also a basketball and tennis court. Very convenient location for those who attend Canisius College or live in the Elmwood area around Albright Knox!

Huge park, diverse, well-kept, gorgeous homes/mansions, a sky ramp to cross from one side to the other, rose garden event area, History Museum with incredible grandfather clock, Japanese Garden path, and much more. I gave it 4* instead of *5 because the traffic on the expressway going through it is loud and disrupts the zen.

An absolutely fantastic park to take a stroll or take in a beautiful view of the lake, gorgeous sunsets, or the excellent playground for children. It is also our favourite place to visit on summer nights to take in a play on the hill at Shakespeare in Delaware Park. Always a fabulous place to visit!

Wonderful place to excersize, easy access to the park from multiple directions and there is a large shared path for cyclists and pedestrians only. There is an Ashkers juice stand that offers free water for hot days. Just get some bug spray on if youre going to be on foot and stationary for a while.

Delaware Park is a great place for family outings, walks, exercises and more. The scenery is very beautiful, especially by the lake. The only thing that is ok about the park is that if there is any major events like the corporate challenge, parking gets difficult a.d traffic gets really congested.

Striking sculptures surrounding a pond, laced with a smooth paved trail for walks and bikes. Shakespeare in the park brings the community together every summer for fun and entertainment. Theres also a playground and a rose garden. Dangerous to walk at night though.

This park has everything! There is a seasonal juice bar located near the zoo area and on the opposite side of the park (near the Albright Knox Museum) there is a lovely rose garden and playground. During the summer the park hosts a serious of Shakespeare plays.

Such a gem in the middle of a city. Its a beautiful park to walk and bike or go for a picnic. Theres tons of basketball courts and playgrounds for the kids. Theres also a rose garden and a restaurant, as well as Shakespeare in the Park on certain days.

Ill always love this beautiful park. Never gets old. Grew up under the beautiful weeping willows and still to this day love sleeping in soft spots of grass letting the willow brush across my body as i slumber in the natures essence

This could be one of the largest and certainly most beautiful parks in the US. Ohlmstead design. Everything goes on here. Bike paths, canoes, gardens, street performers, Shakespeare, restaurant, art museums, tennis, golf, zoo.

This is an amazing park. The sheer size of it just blew my mind. The summer trees look great to see and I didnt have time to even explore the whole park. There is a zoo close by and parking is free outside the zoo parking lot.

I truly love Delaware park but the bathroom situation near the track field is ridiculous. Step it people, theres kids out here that need those facilities we need more attendants available. Especially on the weekend

Great Time at "Shakespeare in the Park". Made our 2x seasonal trip to SDP last night to see "The Merry Wives of Windsor". Awesome show and well-done by all involved. Delaware Park is a great place for this show.

Always a beautiful park to visit. I highly recommend you visit the rose garden just south of Marcy Casino. The garden is just breathtakingly beautiful, with a delightful aroma of fresh roses and other flowers.

Nice place to play a round of golf or exercise as most of us do there. Buffalo zoo is next door, Albright- Knox art gallery is at the other end and History museum sits at another corner of the parking.

One of the few truly beautiful places in buffalo. Not just the scenery, but the people. You will find people smiling, families bonding, and general infectious happiness. Always worth going through!

A worthy stop as a local, a traveler or a tourist. Fredrick law olmstead and olmstead parks did, and do a great job (respectively) to create Delaware park, and its many sections, nooks and crannies.

The best park in the city, in the heart of the city. Great for exercise, loafing, and walking your dogs. If only they hadnt built the 198 right through the center of it.

Its an ok place to go if you want to walk and talk. Keep in mind the time of year it is and remember its near the water so there is nothing to block the wind. Ok cool park.

So many great things, where to start? Golf, walking, green space, soccer, rugby, snacks, zoo, running...everything you could want in an Olmstead park. Highly recommend.

Beautiful park, part of the Olmsted park system. You are closely located to numerous shops, bars, and restaurants. There is also a very popular running track.
