This is my favorite boardwalk for a family outing. The boardwalk itself is a little grungy, but the rides are great, the beaches are clean and free, and if you need to eat on a budget, there are many options for reasonably priced foods such as a dollar pizza, dollar burgers, dollar hotdogs, 1.50 ice cream (at lime rickeys) etc. There are also nice sit down restuaraunts too. The jersey girl is just off the boardwalk and offers new American fair with craft cocktails. Theres also a classic arcade that has every classic arcade game from the 80s and a large selection of vintage pinball machines. You really cant go wrong by coming here!

I used to come to this place a lot when I was younger. I loved it a great deal and had plenty of memories of staying down here over the years. That said however I wish I could say its the same as it always was, but it has gotten noticeably worse over time. Some areas being closed down permanently or destroyed to make way for other things. Also the price for parking in season is absurd (25¢ for 15 minutes?!) Its still a nice place to go for a family and a heavy kid focus, but aside from that if you are a couple who would enjoy something more mature and calming I would suggest Cape May or Stone Harbor for your visit.

The service was very friendly and prompt. The dining room inside had the ductwork look goong on which wasnt the most regal feeling in the world, but with a view of the outdoor bar/marina it was designed to have a down-to-earth feel. The food pricing and portions were very reasonable, and everything was very well made except for the lobster tail. Just seems like we got one that was overcooked, but judging from the good quality of everything else, it was probably an unfortunate aberration. All in all a good, authentic experience that was relayively easy on the wallet. Most accurately Id give it a 3.75/5.

The Wildwood Boardwalk is characterized by its dwellers, most of them of working class. One must ask if the shops bordering the boardwalk (tacky t-shirts, tattoo, greassy food) are producing that type of crowd or the shops are mearly reflecting the poor taste of the visitors ? There is no real point in walking the planks of the boardwalks besides people watching. I would recommand the Atlantic City Boardwalk because the beach-side is free of shops giving you a nice view of the beach and the visitors, mostly casino players out for some fresh, are better dressed than their Wildwood counterparts.

If ypure looking for a beach to get your fitbit steps in, this is definitely the beach youre looking for... the long beach is a perfect separation between boardwalk and ocean so you can enjoy the beach without all the boardwalk noise. The boardwalk is HUGE and has plenty of things to do for people of all ages. This is the place for thrill and fun if youre looking for a place to vacate like this. The rides on the piers are also fun! The best part is riding rides while viewing the beach. With all the eating options it is also extremely convenient.

The beach and boardwalk were both an over all pleasant and enjoyable experience .My only complaint is all the second hand smoke on the boardwalk. I did not appreciate being exposed to the second hand smoke not only being concerned about it effecting my health , but the health of others including children .There should be designated smoking areas or something.Besides the second hand smoke concern we had a good time. I am highly disappointed about Wildwood not ensuring public health safety .

If youre looking for some fun away from the ocean, the board walk is a great place to hang out. The food and gift shops are over priced, but as far as attractions go, they were reasonably priced. Personally id prefer to spend more time on the beach and in the ocean, but the rollercoaster, ferris wheel and art box (a free art gallery) perked my interest. Walking down it was also fun. I just wouldnt expect to be entertained fully over a five day vacation with just the board walk in mind.

Atlantic City might be home to the oldest and longest boardwalk in the US, but its not the best - Wildwood is! It has the most variety I have ever seen in a boardwalk. There are at least three piers that stretch out onto the beach filled with rides, games and vendors. They have a tram car that will take you from one end to the other. You can ride your bikes on the boardwalk before 11am. Fun for all ages! Dont forget to grab lemonade and funnel cake!

If I have to explain why I love Wildwood Boardwalk this review would be a novel its just fun its a great atmosphere it has amazing rides and stores and games there are tons of things for everyone to do from babies to somebody that is 90 years old it is Wildwood Boardwalk theres something for everyone but if I had to pick my favorite part it would be the piers with the rides and rollercoasters and water parks!!!

The Wildwood Boardwalk has a lot of different things to do, whether its eating, buying, or playing games. There were two really cool TCG shops that stood out to me but ultimately most of the shops there were lackluster. Its a lot of the same thing over and over again. The beach is really big and the wave there are excellent. If youre looking to have a good time, the Wildwood Boardwalk is a good place to be.

Boardwalk has plenty of shops, restaurants, arcades, and three amusement piers. Tramcar runs the entire length of the Boardwalk to provide an alternative to walking (just dont walk in front of the tram or it will say "Watch the tramcar, please!", which can get annoying if the tram is along a crowded section). Boardwalk seems a little run down though compared to other places such as Ocean City, MD.

Great place have been going all my life. I just hate that all the shops are the same. T shirts, pizza, beach store, T shirts, ice cream, T shirts. I mean like why cant they allow other types of stores in there to bring something new to the board walk. But great for walks, great in the morning for biking, diner at beginning of board walk has good food. I lie the tram car too. Pretty cool.

I have not been down Wildwoods boardwalk in 10plus yrs, im currently 36. My wife and young child along with myself went there on 7/11/15. It has changed drastically since my last visit. Its straight up Ghetto! If you like pants low, cursing aloud for everyone to hear, and simply put arrogant as all hell, this is for you. Its just the way it is, sad! Ocean city boardwalk is much better!

The best boardwalk in NEW JERSEY! Used to be better piers and more exiting amusement rides on both sides of the boardwalk. I miss the music, the games on the boardwalk, used to have more places to eat besides pizza or steaks! The stores now are just t-shirts, jewelry! Miss the excitement! But, for family, you cant beat the low prices for everything in Wildwood! Best beach too!
