Short course, easy if youre accurate off the tee, tight holes...very close to each other lol kinda scared i was going to get hit by someone elses shots.. Fairly good condition. Play this course maybe once or twice a year after a bad round at Running Deer .. Get my spirits back up. Cant complain though, not as tough or nice as the Deer but second best course around me. Depending on the action the greens are usually nice.. But with a lot of people they can get rough. Once again, dont listen to anyone on here saying its bad, no Augusta but also not Centerton down the steeet lol that place is your 2 star course.
I myself havent played here, as I dont golf. However, my bf loves it here. He and two friends/co-workers golf here 2-4x a month. Its a well kept, nicely landscaped course with a good layout, and is a great place to better your skill level. You can get great tee time prices on a discount through Golf Now which make the course even more worth it. The fact that this course isnt incredibly well known due to the area its in means its usually never overly crowded also. Overall a great place you should try out if youre a golfer in this area.
I think this course is a very good course to play and fine tune your skills. Its true the sand traps need work and little things here and there could use some attention. The staff is and restaurant folks are always friendly. It might help though to promote ready golf there. There were times I was able to do a round in 2.5 hrs and then there were times I was at 5hrs...Overall, the fees are a little high but if you join its well worth it for the discount. Gold courses are expensive to up keep so I get it - Rome wasnt built in a day...:)

ITS IN TERRIBLE CONDITION! Just played this course on Labor Day, 9/5/11 and its pretty much unplayable. They lost the tee boxes, fairways and greens due to the storms no doubt. They were only charging $35 for a morning tee time on a holiday which should have given us a clue, but a warning from the staff should have been given because it wasnt worth it. Normally the course is in decent condition as Ive played it a couple times earlier in the year. I recommend staying away until they recover, probably not until next spring.
I played there in Aug of 2012 with a couple of buddies (10-18 handicaps). We played well on a couple of holes so naturally we had to wait on the group in front of us (which we didnt mind). While waiting, the cart girl came and got our beverages. She decided to hang out a few minutes and chatted with us, which was really cool cause she was definitely a looker and friendly. The course was in great shape. The staff was friendly. The rates were very reasonable. What more can you ask for? Im definitely going back.
I have to say I was surprised by the 1 and 2 star reviews. As a new member in 2013 I was impressed with the course and never had any rude service. The course was kept well throughout the season and the course pro has done a great job in his first year. If I have any criticism it would be the lack of member events but the people, golf, food, and drinks are always great. I expect to be a long time member and would recommend this course to anyone who wants a challenging fun round of golf.

The course is garbage. It used to be nice, but theyve let it go. The kid who works at the Pro Shop also tried fighting (no joke) myself and my 60 year old father because we werent playing to his liking. When we threatened to leave the course, his response was "We already got your money." This isnt a joke, although I wish I could say it was. Id never recommend this place to anyone. Not when there are so many other, nicer courses to play in the area.
WOW ! all the greens and fairways are in absolute pristine shape, no heat or water stress at all. All 18 fairways provide a perfect lie every time. Combine that with a professional staff and a fabulous grill room with exciting, flavorful cuisine, then ask yourself, why go anywhere else ? White Oaks is truly becoming a jewel here in South Jersey ! Ron Hayden Marmora, N.J.
Played this course last year in mid to late 2012, both my friends and I really enjoyed this course. In fact, my wife bought me 2 Groupons from here, both BOGOs. Cant wait! Small, tight and yet very playable. Whats there not to like? Greens were better than par when we played last year. I expect no less this year. Highly recommend this course.

This course has been updated since these older reviews have been posted. The grass is in great shape, the staff are friend and professional. Compared to the other courses in South Jersey, this is a great value. Its a fun place to play, and they know how to treat their customers. Highly recommended. Check out number 7!
Great course. Convenient to play, probably been 30x this year. Good layout. Definitely not the longest course, but always presents a nice challenge. A few years ago the greens were horrible. Theyre beautiful now. Wish they were little faster a little faster though. Also wish the tee boxes were cut lower.

The golf course has made a significant comeback this fall and is in good shape! Overall the greens are night and day from where they were, and the overall condition is a lot better. Right now we are in winter rates, so come on out and give us a try this fall and we look forward to a great 2012!
Found this course through the golfnow and I think its a hidden gem. People in clubhouse were very nice and accommodating especially since didnt have a tee time booked. Course conditions were awesome. Greens were playing fast but that makes it a good challenge. Would definitely play here again

I really like this country club. I know the owner very well and we are quite friendly. The course is always in great condition. I am only 15 and this course really got me back into golf. Overall a very well run course with a great staff. -GAYLORD
Really a nice course,. Well kept,. Tough course at times. Need to keep the ball in the fairway. If not you will be in trouble. Would recommend this for anyone. Nice course to play

Awesome course. Great for the high handicap yet challenging for the low handicap. If you play smart and take advantage of the right holes youll leave with a low score.
