Hostile manager/bartender. Not good food at the clubhouse for no present cook. planned to have a nice afternoon with my colleagues from Korea for the weekend as a break for the business trip. I dont know what was managers issue. Sensed hostility for the manner of conversation. Especially dont try to pay with cash. He seemed very uncpmfortable with customer trying to check the receipt and change and take it as an offense to his credibility. (He didnt use machine to produce receipt. He hand wrote it and was confusing my orders)My colleague by honest mistake took his cooler which was given with beer, and he yelled about it for so loud and long which I reacted with immediate apology and he made fun of my apology. It was uttet embarassment honestly and ruined the whole afternoon. I honestly am easy going and nice to people which I did to the kids who were helping me very kindly. I just hope this review could help the potential victims because it is very painful to go through such a rudeness..

I absolutely loved golfing at Hillsborough Golf & Country Club. I have been looking for a place for a while now where I can relax and golf and Hillsborough is probably my favorite. I dont think I have ever seen a more beautiful course and I never feel like I am stacking up. Especially now in the fall with the foliage being outdoors playing a leisurely game of golf is great at this location.

It is a nice course, and well-maintained - challenging greens. However, the biggest problem will be with time management. There are no rangers that I saw, and at one point on # 8 (a par 3), there were four groups stacked up. On stretches on the front and back, the pace picked up, but on the short 4s and 3s the wait was beyond ridiculous.

I enjoyed my round of golf and the restaurant following the round here. The golf course was in good shape, and the greens were particularly good. They tend to run pretty quick here, and have a fair amount of undulation. You will want to hit it close if you are going to keep your score respectable.

A buddy and I have been playing most Tuesdays this year and you cant beat it. Weve played other courses in the area for much more $$$ and they are not in the shape this course is in!! The staff is great!! Great value!!

Great course with tough greens and gorgeous fairways. It has everything you need in a golf course and will challenge you in many ways. Last time I played before noon I got lunch and a beer included in my round!

Kinda out in the boonies but definitely worth the drive...especially for the green fee..the course is very well kept...greens are challenging...and there are some beautiful vistas to enjoy.

Finally got to play here today . A bit off the beaten path, but well worth finding. Challenging and scenic course, very well maintained. Add the lunch and you have a great day of golf.

Its pretty cheap to play here and I think the course is gradually getting nicer, but as it stands there are better places to play that are closer to civilization.

Awesome greens, challenging but fun course. Holes are always well-maintained and the staff is extremely helpful. Id recommend this to any avid golfer.

The only thing I have to say is that the borders werent clearly defined. You would get up to the tee box and be unsure where the greens were.

$18 for one drink!! Rip off. Horrible course. Not sure how it has 4 stars. Carts are 30 years old and barley run.
