I was looking forward to an enjoyable Mexican lunch, but I didnt get it here. The food was quite disappointing (I had the Enchiladas Banderas) and did not taste authentic, at least when compared to other Mexican restaurants that I have frequented. The enchiladas were not particularly palatable, and the black beans and rice were especially off. Taste-wise, the rice seemed like it came out of a box. None of the employees I saw during my visit appeared to be of Hispanic descent, which should have been a clue regarding what was to come. On the other hand, the salsa was decent and the water with lemon was spot on!

Good food, terrible service. Our waiter used hand singals instead of words most of the time. Mind you, he was a white American talking to other white Americans. I asked where the bathroom was and he simply pointed. He also would grab our plates without asking us if we wanted to take anything home or communicating anything at all. But hes not the only problem. As we left the nearly empty restaurant, three hostesses were standing around the hostess station chatting and NONE OF THEM looked up to say thank you or good bye.

Service was superb. The lemonade was apparently pink and delicious. I think I had 4 glasses on top of my water. Prices were on the higher side but the portions were large. The tomato nachos were overflowing with stringy cheese. This was the smallest item we had. Not many chips for the price. The trio combo was good. Not very Mexican-y but very good. The free chips and salsa was actually spicy. Love that. I hate going to Mexican restaurants and having just mild bland salsa. Pleasant surprise.

Apparently quality and quantity is no longer a "thing" here. Had dinner on January 2017 and was very dissapointed. Got a meal with three enchiladas for 14$. It looked like condiment soup, and tasted like it too.. Two kids meals, two entrees, and 3 margaritas for 80$. I litterally feel like i was robbed. It seems like the corporate world has ruined this mexican dive. To summarize, GROSS!!!

All the Margaritas restaurants are the best Mexican food Ive had north of the border. Chicken chimichangas are my favorite, but you really cant go wrong with anything on the menu, in my experience. Their margaritas are fantastic. Be careful how many you drink because they go down very easily! I recommend them to anyone looking for a great time and outstanding food and drinks.

The experience of 4 adults, 1 toddler, 1 child: Good: seated quickly, friendly staff, delicious food (mostly) Bad: 2 shrimp tacos are $10.99 and there were zero side items (ie. rice/beans). The steak in the burrito was more gristle than digestible meat. Salsa was very spicy (not kid friendly) Overall: Decent tasting food, but you will not get what you pay for.

The staff at Margaritas do a fantastic job. The food is wonderful and always fresh and delicious. The employees work had but are always very pleasant and efficient. As a mother with three young kids I find the place kid friendly and quick to get in and out of. We go their at least once a month. I would recommend it highly!.

I always enjoy going here with my fiance & friends. You get a good amount of food for the price and there is always a lot of flavor. Go during their Full Moon Madness. I won a t-shirt, my fiance won a cowboy hat, & my friend won a free dinner entree. The staff have always been funny & attentive.

I have been going to Margaritas Restaurant since the early 80s at their restaurant in Orono, Maine. Always delicious salsa and chips. The entrees are most delicious and a large variety to choose from. We have been to the Orono, Nashua, Portsmouth and Methuen restaurants. All are five stars.

Service eating in is okay, same with the food. I wouldnt really say its authentic, but its on par with other restaurants of its sort. With Loco Cocos moving into the area a while back (just over the bridge in Maine), we have been preferring them to this Margaritas restaurant.

The worst food ever, absolutely no presentation. Burrito arrived plopped on a bare plate and was still cold inside. I dont have any idea how they could think the quesadilla extravaganza is in any way extravagant. Never again.

Dont get stuck with Speedy, ugh. every thing tastes the same, no flavor. dont bring your kids , their kids tacos taste like dog food. dont tell them that , or the service will be rude to you. not worth the visit for food.

Absolutely horrible! Wife ordered one beef and cheese soft taco, got 3, and the beef tasted like they used sloppy joe mix. Serviceand food are absolutely horrible considering i spent $45 for 2 adults and one child.

Went for the margaritas - they were pretty good. Only sat at the bar 5PM and was hoping it would be more of a mixed crowd, but mostly a sausage party. It is a good place to start as a jumping off location.

Bad service, food lacks taste, got to aceptalo that its a nice decoration, but since the entrance is a horrible service, I went by myself and next time I will just get qdoba or something.

Steak quesadillas are straight fuego. Queso is also pretty bomb!

Wait staff was friendly. Food was good and made fast. Refried beans had a little too much pepper in them for me, otherwise would have been a five star experience.

It is one of the better chains still around. Gotta love the margaritas here and the free chips and salsa. For a Mexican chain restaurant the food is mostly good

Over all average mexican. Even the margaritas taste just a step above average. They also dont offer any vegetarian options.
