I went to a wedding and reception held here and it was great. There was enough space to have an area for the ceremony and then a separate space for the reception, then the ceremony area was transformed into the dance floor. There is a kitchen for the caterers to use and the space feels festive and artsy. Also surprisingly good acoustics for such a large room.

The Foundry has a ton to see and do, with great programs for families and couples alike, many of which are free. They also have independent artist space on the 2nd floor where people can rent a space to create and vend. Its a beautiful building, and is worth walking into, even if just to take a peek around.

This yet another pet project for the city of St. Charles. It benefits the artists, but the consumer doesnt really attain any better shopping experience. This is a negative review obviously, but the establishment is a vague platform of random crafty stuff filled with amateurs subsidized by the tax payer.

Ed Twente

Its a free display building with approximately 20 artists working in their own areas on the second floor. The displays use many different types of media so there is a large variety of art. All of the art I saw displayed is available for purchase.

Attended the Art and Literary Festival but enjoyed the gallery and the studios as well while we were there. Looking forward to going back for some performances and maybe signing up for a class.

A great re-use of space, the Foundry is now home to some amazing art and artisans. Its a great place to bring groups for a special event, and you can even have a meal catered into the centre!

Very cool place! Only thing I will mention is there is a lack of seating. A couple benches strategically placed would have been amazing!

Really cool place with galleries and events! They have artists studios upstairs you can view and even talk with artists who are in!
