This place is great if you dont have to follow the orders of the owner. It is clean, green and everything works. It is off the freeway. The sites are a little close together and SHORT for a 40 foot with toad. If you do not follow the orders of the owner he will berate you in a voice that is against his own rules. He will remind you he is the OWNER and will throw you out of here if you move your RV without him here. >>>>There is a no refund policy for any reason. <<<< He will go on to tell you that he has parked over 2000 guest in twenty years and YOU are the only one he has had trouble with. Every mis-direction he makes is your fault. If you say you can not see him he belittles you for not leaning over to find where he is standing now. I made it all the way from California without his help, I dont need someone with a screaming problem to direct me AROUND his golf cart. He went nuts when I got up to see where I was parked as I usually do. He insisted I was parked perfect. The berating began. I gave up saying "yes sir". Needless to say we cant get the owner fired so we will tell everyone in hearing distance about his anger management issues. They can then make their own informed decision. We will not return. This may be the only RV park in this area.

This place is clean. Thats about the only positive thing I can say about it. We stayed there a month before they closed for the winter but they had already took down all the playground equipment (no swings - just chains. No tether-ball, no horseshoes or anything). The pool was being drained as well. I could understand if this was a week before closing but a month?! They still charged full price - no discounts or anything since half their amenities were unusable. In addition it says the rate is for two adults and two children, but it was just me (1 adult) and my four kids - they charged me for one of my kids instead of just giving the other adult rate - kinda greedy if you ask me. Also all the kids were playing at the "playground" (aka the dirt lot since everything was taken down). It was over an hour before quiet time but the owner came out and said they needed to go inside because they were being loud and no one wanted to hear them. They werent screaming or being crazy....just running and playing and being normal kids. This place may be good if you are a retiree or without kids but I would not say its "family friendly".

My hubby & I stayed in June of 2009 in a motorhome, we intended to stay only 5 days as we were traveling, but my husband became ill with an infection & had to be hospitalized & have surgery, the site we were in was reserved so had to get out, I was beside myself not knowing what to do, Susan Poss, & her hubby Rick & staff jumped right in and drove my RV to another site, helped with the connections & were so comforting & friendly, they made a difficult time for us so much easier & took our worries away. They literally bend themselves over backwards to help us out. I cannot praise this campgrounds or the staff here enough. They are very pet & child friendly also, it is just a pleasure to be here, you feel as if you have come home when you camp here, pristine & beautiful grounds, friendly & accommodating staff, pristine restrooms & laundry, what more could you ask for! They even take you to your site & help guide you to park your RV & tow vehicle! Not many campgrounds do that. The park is easy off & on the freeway, & close to everything in the cities, a wonderful place to stay!

Pros: Escort to the campsite with very helpful. Park clean, quiet, well maintained. Cons: Office was hard to find (no signs) The receptionist was too talkative and left me standing in line for at least 10 minutes without acknowledging that we were in the office. She gave us the Wi-Fi password which is very important to us But failed to tell us that there were no Wi-Fi in the campground (we had to walk back to the office to check why it wasnt working) She said you had to be in the office or sit at the pool. When I asked about it they said "we wouldnt have Wi-Fi if we didnt have to use a credit card machine," I actually work from the road so I have my own Internet but my grandsons had their laptops since it was so hot outside. They had fire pits at all the tent areas but not at the RV sites so no Smores or roasted hotdogs. Do not follow your GPS by address because it wont make it to the correct location, use the coordinates instead.

May 2015. First time RVer. This place is very nice. Its the little things that really impressed me, the neatness of the grounds, the spotless bathrooms with mats on the floors in the toilets, also the handle bars to assist the elderly and handicapped, the flowers, the slick black pavement coming into the park, the sink room between the bathrooms to wash items, the well-working machines in the laundry room. The phone booth on the grounds brought a smile. The couple owners told me they bought the place in 1991. You can tell they spent a lot of time and effort to make it an RV park in that metro area that visitors will want to come back to. I know I will. And its in a great location, with a Walmart Supercenter three minutes away, and a liquor store nearby also.

This is the best park for anyone exploring the Twin Cities. Owned and operated by the Poss family, the park shows pride of ownership. This hidden gem is 1/4 mile right off Interstate 94 but you barely know it since the park is beautifully landscaped with trees to buffer the sound. Big rig friendly, the main lots sites are wide 30 and 50-amp, and covered with gravel. Toward the back of the park are the cabins, more shaded sites, and a huge grassy field with flowering trees. The restrooms and pool are sparkling clean, office staff are friendly and welcoming. The place is very busy throughout its season - April to October - and a great place for kids with a playground and lots of nearby bike trails. We honestly would not stay anywhere else when we visit Minnesota.

As previously stated by previous reviews the owner is extremely rude. His methods are less than desirable. After he directed and parked me I had to move and reposition because the site was so unlevel. He came over and asked why I moved? He was very miserable His wife is patronizing and phoney. If you do not have to stay in this park DO NOT. On top of all the bazar treatment the voltage is low on all sites, Satelight will not work. When we made the reservation I asked for a site that my satelight would work and it was acknowledged that it would.get one. NOT We had to spend 4 nights in St Paul and they had to moved us once and were going to move e us again, so we left. Do not stay here unless it is an emergency.
