We recently had our wedding at the HCE. Everything was fine working with the HCE until the day of our wedding when the Coordinator did not show up at the agreed upon time. After sitting outside for 50 minutes we had to go back to the hotel to start getting ready there instead so I had to pay for all the hair and makeup people to travel to the hotel. When the coordinator finally called me after I made many calls & sent a lot of emails her response was she looked at the wrong time & we were lucky she wasnt charging us more money anyways. I made my mom deal with any contact with her the rest of the day as I did not want to deal with her. So the entire day was delayed by an hour & we got only half the pictures we wanted to take, we were extremely rushed & stressed all day because of it. When the keg ran out later in the night the bartenders didnt bother to tell us so guests ended up paying for their own beers for a half hour until a guest told me & I told the bartenders to tap the other keg. We had a random man from the street come in on our reception & our best man had to make him leave as the security we had to pay for couldn’t be found. The only reason I even gave 2 stars was because the servers were good, the food was very good, and the location is beautiful. Although, the place needs some sprucing up as the carpet upstairs s all uneven, it’s a trip hazard, & the ceiling leaks if it rains. Do not do ivory linens through them as none of their linens are the same color ivory the napkins are a different color than the table cloths & the some of the table cloths don’t even match. Also, when we came to setup none of the tables, chairs, or linens were setup so we had to set them up which was a lot of work on top of everything else we had to do. Honestly, I had so many things go wrong on my wedding day beyond just this vendor & it was the most stressful day of my life; which is very sad.

I just had my Wedding here a few weeks ago. It is unbelievable. This place is so gorgeous I spent almost no money on decorating. The food was amazing the chef did a wonderful job accommodating allergies and it was some of the best tasting food we have ever had. The owner was on top of everything. Constantly checked on me to make sure everything was going smoothly and made sure I had everything I needed. All my guests raved about how my wedding was seriously the best wedding they had ever went to and huge thanks goes to Historic Concord Exchange and the people who work there and helped make it happen. I highly recommend this location for any event. I hope to find some excuse in the future to throw another party at this location. It could not have been more perfect!

Christine has been absolutely wonderful to work with. We have planned an October wedding for 2015 (coming up) and are so excited and happy to be working with such a great team. The space is beautiful and has a lot of character so, decoration can be minimal (and that save sis money). We are choosing to do the ceremony there as well as if offers plenty of charm and not that stale environment that some wedding venues have. Theres also plenty of parking, ease to get to for guests (as its located close to major roads) and only 5 miles from downtown where many guests are staying. Not too mention, only 10 miles from the airport. We looked at over 15 venues, and this one offers what we want for a price we can afford.

My wife and I struggled finding the right venue for our special day. After months of searching, we found the Historic Concord Exchange and were both blown away. Its uniqueness, historical elegance and flexibility seemed like the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. Karna, the venue owner and our venue coordinator, went above and beyond helping us customize every detail. Her positive charm and experience made it very easy to plan our big day. We were able to select a custom food option that was just as delicious as our other food selections. Many of our guests shared with us how lovely their experience was at the venue. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding ceremony and reception!

We attended a wedding reception at the Historic Concord Exchange last night. I just have to say how wonderful it was, from the spacious bar area for pre-dinner drinks, to the fabulous rest rooms. The building is old and awesome. If I were ever to marry again (wont happen, too old), I would have my event there. And dinner was divine. I wast expecting much, as Im sure sit down dinners for a couple hundred people are pretty hard to pull off. But they did, with flying colors! We had chicken breasts with wild rice, sweet potato puree and brussels sprouts. Best meal Ive had in a while, and I eat at all the best restaurants in the cities. It was all absolute perfection.

Excellent service, great staff, great food. This facility knows how to take care of its customers to make sure everyone has a pleasant experience. We had a wedding reception and I heard from many of our guests how great the food was, and how nice the staff was. I highly recommend this venue.

This was the most exciting experience we could every imagine. ..the entire staff was like family...dont look any further for an event center....you will not find a better one...Karna, was the hostess and definitely well worth every cent...she made sure everything went flawlessly.
