Let me start off by saying that I wasnt sure whether or not to give this course 3 or 4 stars. Playing the front nine, I continuously had the same thought: This is a unique course at a great price but the greens are terrible. Come to find out after talking to someone who is on a league here, the course was closed for two years until this year. There were numerous crew members who looked like they were working hard to keep the course in as good of shape as possible. This course had many unique holes. The 11th or 12th hole was a seemingly easy par 5 dog leg but the fairway funnels down into a tree lined gauntlet right before the dog leg, adding an element of difficulty. 13 or 14 (as I recall) had a very unique section of burms encompassing the right 3/4 of the fairway. They also have a monstrous 566 yard par 5 at the end of the front nine. Staff and grounds crew were very friendly. Like previously mentioned, the greens still need a LOT of work but I know the crew is working on it. Fun unique course for a small town with the opportunity to score well. If the crew continues their efforts this may be one of my favorite hidden gems in the years to come!

Completely lost my business. I rarely play other courses than my home course but thought I would go try Leaning Tree out for again for the first time in a few years. I got there at 7:45 (it doesnt get dark until 9:30) and wanted to walk 9 and the man in the shop wouldnt let us play. I am a quick golfer and could have easily finished. Either way I (and my partners) were paying customers and respect the course and he would not let us golf. Will not come back.

First off, people who golfed last year should go again this year and update their reviews. The greens are in good shape and the course is well maintained. Cart paths a bit lacking, but one thing at a time. Food was great and they were an awesome group of people to help out hosting a fundraiser outing. The food for the outing was awesome. Ill go back for sure. Good job Tim.

Omg probably the slowest service in the county! But not much of a choice when you live around here. Girls are sweet but dont think any of them have served before or bartended. Wait I cant complain this place is was closed for two years almost lost it all together. Food is good, golf is cheap!

Pretty decent place. Its big, i believe they even have a party room for reservations. Foods not bad. Probably a really good time id you have a couple of golf buddies with you who like to drink beer. Mmmmm beer.

I was very impressed with the way they have brought this golf course back. The greens especially are in good shape. My only complaint is the golf course doesnt open until 8:00 am.

Golf course is a work in progress, closed down for a time the new owners are working hard to bring it back. Restaurant (Chaps III) is very good.
