UPDATE: This may as well be my last review update. But the ITG machine is broken again. Kernal BIOS stress error. I guess this machine generally will have problems over time. UPDATE [2]: The ITG3 machine is up and running again! UPDATE [3]: My last two visit experiences have been that the In the Groove 3 cabinet is not functioning properly anymore, which automatically drops a star. Second-to-last I have experienced lag-spikes, to which the guy easily restarted the machine which fixed it quickly. My last visit however, when plugging the machine in, it shows that it had failed a memory test. The two images will show you the error message. If it is not fixed and will still be in a broken condition, Ill unfortunately have to drop another star as this is the only place I could find an ITG machine with USB ports within my area radius. Old review: Come here to play DDR/ITG. ITG3 r23 machine is modded with Simply Love theme with ITG1/2/Rebirth song packs (ITG3 pack not in for some reason), Pendulum song pack, and much more. Machine accepts any .ogg & .sm unlimited song lengths from flash drive (ogglengthpatcher not needed) since its modded. DDR SuperNova comes with DDR SN and Extreme USA AC song packs. DDR SuperNova panels are sinked in (as usual), ITG3s left metal pads left arrow requires a 0.01x more effort to register the note compared to other panels (barely noticeable even for pro players).

Are u kidding me? This old guy comes to a table of 4 which had 8 drinks ((they approved of buying for 4 guys with seeing ID ) before 15 mins of so called their deadline which the server doesn tell us about ) And ask is to chug the rest of beers . And when we manage to chug one out of 2 he snatched rest of beers. And after 5 minutes comes this so callled cop who takes red bull (no alcohol) from this other table next to us saying its alcoholic drink. Come on guys set a standard and set up timing and ask your servers to serve according to timeline if on deadline. And will be really helpful if serving 8 drinks before 10/15 minutes of timeline to let know customers that these so called COPS gonna come and snatch your paid drinks .

Being customer for many years, cant believe i just felt towards racism from the staffs. Stand at the counter asking for help because one of the kid bowling lane have a problem. For 5 minutes no one bother ask me what they can help me with. So there is one of kid come stand next to me at the counter they helped her and turn their back from me. Ignore me even though i said excuse me many times. The atmosphere make me felt so unrealistic it just really happen because of my race? Glad theres another staff came and helped us out. Does the manager hire anyone at Boston bowl with their attitude like that to the customers. Big disappointment and The discrimination is real.

First time here today. Got one of their beers they brew there..had hair floating in it. Went to the bar with it very clearly floating right there and asked for a bottled beer instead, got a nasty look. Was about to walk away and they said i would owe them $1.07 the difference in cost. Really? Left the now open bottled beer on the counter, lost us buying what probably would have been a few more drinks anyway. Bowling balls are super greasy, tables are dirty, desk attendants could care less about you (10 min to wait after paying to get shoes, 3 people working behind the counter) never getting my business again.

They have parking lot which is nice. But the prices for bowling are ridiculous. $11 per person per game not negotiable and didnt accept my veterans ID for discount. Didnt try their food, just wasnt brave enough. Darkwood beer is not the best choice, but the name is appropriate. Arcade part should be called scamcade. 70% of the things dont work, the other 20% pretended that they worked, the other 9% was working and purposeless and the last 1% was actually fun. And there was that Asian 3 year old kid that would always hijack my actively played arcade(s). I guess it was a highlight of my experience.

Went there to play In The Groove 3 since its one of the only public machines available in Massachusetts. The machine was completely inoperable and looked like no one knew or cared about the machine for months. Poor maintenance aside, the machine is essentially acting as a 500 pound paperweight when it could be a popular spot for people to play dance games. Unfortunately I didnt come to bowl which seems ornery, but if anyones looking for an ITG machine at Boston Bowl to play at, I would recommend to continue searching.

If you want to bowl, and I mean bowl, in Boston, there are three places. Well, Jillians is if you have $100 to blow and want to seem preppy, and are under 21. So lets say two places. The one out by Alewife is for people who hate change, cleanliness, and value. Boston Bowl is clean, modern, even has TVs set up (and unlike the ones by Alewife, these work!), courteous, handicap accessible... needless to say, take the red line south instead of north! You can even use the free hotel shuttle to get to and from the T.

Overpriced billiards and bowling unless you have a coupon. Food is at an ok price, but I can get better at Dominos or something. Workers are generally nice but at times rude too when it gets late at night. There use to be multiple incidents concerning violence between teens but I guess it has calmed down now. The only thing I like about this place is how its close to everyone I know to just hang out, has cleaned up since back then and has free hotel shuttle for those that does not have a car

Recently gave them an excellent review. Lane conditions superb. Great rates on Monday eves and Thursday eve. However they have a "rewards" program. I accrued an absurd amount of points (which earned me a comically pathetic whopping "reward" of 3 free games. Whooee! Was never treated so rudely since perhaps my last trip to the Registry. That rude. Come here late night/over night. The workers are courteous and friendly. Weekends may as well be at the RMV.

Really a fun time. Easy parking, friendly bartender and very clean. We went here for a team night out for work. Was really fun. We bowled and played pool. It was a Thursday nite and had no wait for a lane or a table. Reasonably priced and a good selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. I didnt have any but the food looked really good too.

Place is awesome to bowl. Gets crowded during weekends though. Arcade is played out. They need to redo that thing over. Old games.. some dont even work. Lets not talk about the toys they have.. omg you have to pay so many tickets to get something nice its crazy. Staff are really nice and the food is so delicious.

Theyve come a long way with the renovations and additions to the facility; I find myself going here more often than Kings now. My only complaint is their choice of music videos which they play in a family setting. My oh my music videos have changed from the days of Donnie Simpson!
