Nice, if you only want to hang out. Sorry, no dogs... Or any pets I assume... Which is nice... There might be some wild bird poop still. Theres no ball playing, bicycling, Frisbee throwing, kickball allowed.... Nothing, no bicycling, no skateboarding, no Rollerblades. Theres a high fenced in playground for KIDS and a small adult exercise course and stretching stations. The park has its own parking lot that gets gated and closes at night... Summertime I think is 10pm? Officers will make rounds kindly informing you when the park is closed. Oh there are bathrooms that are usually well maintained! Water bubblers and bike racks too. Massport owns the park and theres a booth with officers hang out inside or around the park to keep an eye on things, theres a sailing club here too. Ive seen wedding parties come through because of the background scenery. Oh theres no fishing off anything Massport controlled it seems, no fires or BBQs allowed as far as I know also. So basically If you want to come here, lay in the sun, sit at a bench and table, read, sit around, just hang or look at boats or sail... This is a pretty nice spot. And yes an ice cream truck rolls through one in a while :-D Markets close by: Small Spanish bodegas. Food close by: Australian, Indian, Italian, Spanish, also an Italian deli, an Italian bakery and Spanish bakerys Train/Bus close by: Blue Line - Maverick station

I love the views. Its about time Boston gave some attention to E. Boston. Its evident that E. Bostonians take pride in the new park and love the vibe it has created in their neighborhood. Also, the views are stunning. My least favorite thing about the park is you cant take photos of the skyline when you are there. Ive been stopped by a few rangers and city cops and told to put my camera away (Post 9/11 issue). I encourage everyone to walk from the "Airport" subway stop to the waterfront. Its bful!! Way to go Boston!

Piers Park is an absolutely beautiful green space that offers the best view of Boston that Ive yet to find. The park has a large play area for kids, an exercise area for adults, and plenty of park benches and seating throughout. There are special concerts that take place in the summer which draw a nice crowd. And, there is almost always a nice cool breeze coming off the water. It may very well be the best spot in all of East Boston!

We had a lovely afternoon and strolled through the park. Children runnning through the fountain and laughing, sun bathers sprawled out on the grass, readers reading in the shade. Plenty of picknic tables and park benches. Perfect view of Boston across the river. Some very lovely interp on imagration..we came from many, now we are one...Dont miss the cut patterned granite columns on the gizabo at the end of the pier

Absolutely gorgeous park on the Boston Harbor. Youll find lush green, lovely shade, and beautiful seens of the city skyline. There are bathrooms and free parking and tables for picnics. I come here often to go sailing as there is a small sailing dock. The only downside of this park is that its bit of a walk from public transit and a drive to any local food places. Otherwise, I love it here!

This place is a gem, and us in East Boston are lucky to have it! Im sure many Bostonians have never ventured across the river to see this gorgeous park. Any time I have a friend visiting from out of town, I bring them here for the beautiful view of the Boston skyline and the ocean breeze and then head on over to KO Pies for beer and a snack!

Kids has free access to slides and water activities. Best part is park located near sea, so enjoy passing ships and boats. Lot of groups visited park to get their marriage photo shoot as location is really mesmerizing. Parking is only available on street, I got parking few streets away.

Great place to relax. The views are great and the grounds are well maintained. Theres a play area for kids on one side and an outdoor bodyweight workout area on the other side. There is also a security booth stationed at this location as well as restrooms

I love this park! Its medium sized, has a playground and small water fountains, the park has a sailing center, it has a perfect view of downtown Boston, great for picnics or family events, no bikes, skateboards, scooters, ect.

Piers park is a hidden gem in East Boston. Its a place that doesnt see alot of foot traffic other than locals and thats a shame as people are missing some of the best views of downtown Boston.

Nice park with a great view of the Boston skyline. Might be great for photography in the morning - in the afternoon/evening the sun is right behind the skyscrapers with really bad backlight.

I loved the view of the skyline, the landscaping and the interesting architecture. Also I think this is the first Boston park I have been to where there is ample seating.

Good open space to catch the Boston sky line. I was here for 1 week and this view was just blocks away. One thing I love about Boston is how much public spaces they have
