Catoctin Breeze is wonderful! A boutique vineyard that produces a excellent varieties of wines and honey meads. You can really taste the "TLC" that goes into each flavor of wine. The honey meads add a amazing finishing touch for those that prefer a sweet taste that is very drinkable. The tasting room is in a temporary location awaiting their new building to be built. But dont worry it only leads your imagination to what is to come for the future that can only be amazing. A very nice and very large gazebos with canopies is provided for to enjoy your wine purchases with friends and food. All types of wine enthusiast will find this a great find. You will want to share with your friends but also keep it a secrete. Give Catoctin Breeze a try you will not be disappointed!

Its an okay place to visit, but the vineyard is very young and need a bit more time to age. They currently only have two dry red wines which are my favorite. Their wines were okay, but nothing I needed a bottle of at ~ $30 per bottle. The general and reserve tasting options included honey wine (or mead), and I personally do not like mead and their version did not change my mind. The tasting room has not been built yet, and they are currently using a open barn that overlooks the construction site. The owner and wine servers were there when we stopped, and they all were very knowledgeable about their wines. I recommend that you stop by and give it a try so in a few years you can stop back and say "I remember when..."

The vineyard is on the young side, so the tasting room isnt as state-of-the-art as those of some other regional vineyards, but go for substance over style. I have tasted wines around Maryland and Virginia, and Catoctin Breeze produces some of the best reds in the area. Whites are relatively easy here; reds take skill. Their desert Mead is also worth trying. Last point: the service has always been excellent--do yourself a favor and visit!

Very romantic location for summer afternoon picnic and wine tasting. We were served by Jo under the pergola. He is very knowledgeable. The wines are very good and stand out due to their nose and aftertaste.Great meads.

Had a wonderful time! We visited in early April just before the vines starting to bud, but the wine is excellent. We cant wait to come back in July!!
