I recently took a group of girls to this winery for a bachelorette party. My husband and I had gone before and really enjoyed their reds selection. I allotted two hours for our trip out to the winery which I considered to be plenty of time to not only do the wine tasting but also time for the bride to open her gifts and also play one game. By the time two hours had rolled around, we had not even gone through all of the reds on their wine tasting list. Im not sure if we were forgotten or if they were just catering more to the groups sitting at the bar. However, I was made to pay a $25 fee for my "large" group of 9 but there was no benefits given with the $25 fee except to sit at a fold up table by ourselves and be forgotten. All the girls did enjoy the wines we tasted but felt that they were kind of cheated out of trying all of the wines available since we only tried a little over half of the wines available on the tasting list. After our tasting, a couple of the girls wanted to buy a bottle to take home as a souvenir. I had remembered previously that we were able to get $5 off a bottle if we had done the tasting. However I was then told that since I had a "large" group, I was not eligible for this discount. Overall, the winery would be a great place to go if you are only going with a couple of people. It is definitely not worth the $25 fee I was charged for my group of 9.

We have been to this winery a few times and have enjoyed each visit more than the previous visit. The owners are extremely nice and bend over backwards to be helpful. The wines are top notch! There are several cheeses that can be purchased to have with the wine which further enhances the experience. In nice weather there is a large deck overlooking the vineyard with gorgeous views. In cold weather they have a large fireplace by which to sit and be warm and cozy. We have gone to a chili cook off there and the live music was great. This is a must visit if you want to experience a true vineyard.

Their wine is FANTASTIC! Their resieling and gewürztraminer are favorites for me, and my husband enjoys their bolder reds, especially their Cabernet Reserve. The blackberry and strawberry wines are like drinking fresh fruit! We go back for tastings and to buy bottles regularly. We had our wedding reception on site. The setting was lovely, the owners and staff were helpful and polite, and the price was reasonable. They have a large open space for dancing and a good set up for a band. They even offered glasses as party favors. My guests loved it and so did I!

This is the real deal: they grow all their own grapes and magically turn them in to not only the best wines in KY (not saying much) but of high quality by any standard. The staff are super friendly, and share their hands-on knowledge. Plus you can buy a wedge of Kennys cheese to go with your wine tasting. I never leave with less than a case. Nice vistas, and walks among the vines. Guess you can tell I am a regular visitor. Enjoy.
