Lots of interesting wildlife tucked away hidden up in Indiana, somewhat hard to find and beware poison ivy. I didnt get poison ivy and totally worth the trip dont get me wrong but I just kept thinking ugh so many kids/ people who dont know what poison ivy looks like have probably run all through this stuff, theres a ton. Easily avoided staying on the paths though would probably leave dogs at home if you react to poison ivy since theyre usually not so fond of staying out of the grass/plants/ivy.

Trails are clean and easy to follow. Nice lil escape ...Hard to believe the city is just a couple blocks away. Bug spray is good idea, especially at dusk. Remember, it a wetland. Mosquito heaven...or might I say ...

This place is extremely quite and peaceful. Im not sure about fishing in the pond. Its only 18-20 inches deep and its full of mud cat.

It was a nice little walk, but when we went it was too wet to really get into the loop. But it was a beautiful sight nonetheless.
