7/22 Cruse 7-9. IT WAS HOT !! Now with that being said it was one of the hottest days of summer this past Saturday. 98 to be exact. The air was broken and people seemed very uncomfortable including our group of 6. When we arrived around 6:30 to retrieve our tickets from the ticket area the wait was only about two minutes. When we arrived to get tickets they told us that the spirt was retired earlier that week and we would be riding a new boat. This excited us. As soon as we got on board we Were escorted to our reserved table. It was Hot !! We got waters and within 15 minutes the cruise started and dinner was served. It was so unbearably hot. We asked staff to move upstairs ( the air seemed to be working ) it became very hot after everyone moved up stairs. Long story short it was terribly hot I didnt want to eat my food . However when I called today they gave me a full refund ! Great customer service. Id recommend the Spirt but choose your day wisely !

I had some guests in town for Derby weekend and we needed something to do that Friday. Although the Belle wasnt in service yet---the Spirit of Jefferson was running the sightseeing tours/buffets. We ended up doing the afternoon sightseeing without the buffet. It ended up being a great time! The views from the boat were awesome. As you left the city behind you could get some great shots of the skyline. We took advantage of the on board bar and got a couple bottles of wine for the group--- coupled with the gorgeous weather---it was a perfect way to spend a few hours. Cant speak for the buffet but there seemed to be a number of people how took advantage of it. There was plenty of room on board to be on deck or undercover. I look forward to trying the Belle of Louisville next time around. *If youre parking in the lot by Joes Crab Shack, you can mention your doing the Boat tour and our parking was only $5.

Cruise was way overbooked. No handicap accessible options other than the dining room, which was far too crowded during the buffet. Staff was friendly and as accommodating as they could be, but other passengers were rude. Bathrooms are tiny and not very clean. Bar/snack area is tiny and nowhere to stand in line without being in the way of someone. Sightseeing seating is limited/crowded and Iittle to no sun protection. Not easy to navigate to different areas of the boat without stepping on someones foot. Tickets for the Spirit should be much cheaper than the Belle.

We didnt get to be on this boat because of high water. We were moved to the Belle of Louisville. It was ok. No open deck for easy viewing of the fireworks. Limited seating for such an event.

Very entertaining and informative dinner cruise. Very good food and a cash bar. Will return for another lock tour.
