My husband and I bought this and went with two of our friends and had an awful experience at this golf club. We started right on time and were making average time but the ranger (that works on Saturdays) was a complete jerk and started harassing us, telling us we were going to slow and people were complaining....well, we were making normal time and no one was behind us, so he clearly just wanted to cause issues. While one of my friends was about to tee off he started yelling at us..which first is terrible golf etiquette, and second, just down right disrespectful. Then he started swearing at us and telling us we had to leave, so we obviously got upset and went into the club house to tell the other employees what happened. Apparently, we were not the only people he yelled at and was already on his last straw working there. One of the employees said they could give us a round of golf for free, however, I will not go back to a place that treats their customers with such disrespect. It was a waste of money and we definitely will not be returning.

What a great golf lesson I received from their instructor last week! It was a time to laugh and learn, which helped ease my nerves having not played golf in years. If your form and swing just need a quick check-up, or you need a complete teaching, I would highly recommend a lesson with the Sycamore Park District Golf Club. I plan to be back for a follow-up lesson later this summer and will bring my 10 year old son for his first.

If your game needs a course to instill some confidence, Sycamore G.C. is your place. Plays longer than yardage posted due to moist fairways, but you can shoot at the flag. Love this course, and dinner at Parkway nearby is a treat (Bourbon Pecan Pie to die for).
