Winter Rose

When I want a challenging round of play, I like to take my talents to the Elks. The course is an opportunity to test your abilities, and determine where you need to devout your attention at within your game. The course is well maintained, the grounds crew staff gets to know you on a personal level each and every time you play at the facility. Very welcoming environment. Not a big drinker, but sometimes Ive been known to throw back a few and its nice to have a variety of options to select from. One thing is for certain those members know how to drink, what to drink and they are sure to get exactly what they want when they want it. Sunday mornings it is great to hit the links early before the course is swarming with endless groups trying to tee off, if you do find yourself waiting in one of those lines, the restaurant just started serving breakfast a couple weeks back starting at 7am, which makes for a great round of golf when your stomach is full. Overall the play, course, and environment are one of the best I have found in the Livingston County area, and quite possibly in the Central Illinois area.

Went to a graduation and a wedding reception in the same weekend at the lodge in June. I figured it was going to be that same old stale man smell I remembered when I was a kid, but the place was amazing. The ballroom had one of the most beautiful views of the course, which truly was a gorgeous site to see as the sun began to set on the course. We had an amazing time, and the food was delicious. It definitely wasnt what I remembered as a kid.

This lodge is gorgeous, and is by far one of the most beautiful places to have your wedding and your reception. I have never had a negative experience being the guest at or having my own event at the Elks Lodge 1019.
