Played on July 1st 2015 I was very impressed by the changes made to the golf course. The views are amazing and the course is in great shape. The greens roll true, I have played a lot of golf and these are the best greens I have putted on in a long time. Big thumbs up to the owner for a private golf course experience that is public, and is priced right. Well played again on July 21st and the course is in great shape and the greens are the best in Chicago land that I have ever seen. Went off at 6:30 am and on the 15th hole a gentlemen comes up and apologizes about the grounds crew getting in my way. I told him thats ok they are just doing there job and Im in there way. He thanked me and said thanks for coming out. Thats great service from a superintendent who didnt have to say anything. Thanks again Mistwood

We played Mistwood for the first time today and I was quite impressed. Theyve undergone a complete course renovation over the past year and after being reopened for ~3 months the course is in great shape - you can certainly tell itll be a 5 star course come next season. Its a links style course with thin fairways, rolling greens and deep bunkers. Also, I was VERY impressed with the staff - all the way around. Very friendly and there to serve (I saw the ranger on the course at least 10 times and the cart girl almost that many times). Definitely a challenging course but a great experience...I will definitely be back!

Some nice holes but overall There is better dollar value and shot value in the western suburbs (Bolingbrook, cantigny, praire landing). Paid full price (85$) on a weekday in June and was not informed that aeration was in progress during our round. Had to back away from numerous putts and chips for keepers to punch greens. Notified management with an email of our experience and no response received.

I was a first time golfer this past Labor Day weekend. The golf course fairways were second to none. However, the greens were horrendous. I paid $105 for 18 holes, cart with GPS and range balls which is way over my golf budget and expected the course to match the charged rates. I will attempt to golf it again next spring when hopefully the greens are in better shape.

Our son is so fortunate to have the opportunity to take lessons from Brian Brodell. Brian opened our eyes to the benefits of structured practice and it has had immediate benefits on our sons game. Brian is an amazing coach and beyond that, he is honest, straightforward and accessible. We are so thankful to have found Mistwood and Brian!

Been coming here every year for 15 years over Memorial Day weekend. Great track and service. Noticed a little deterioration in the quality of the upkeep this year - dandelions on the tee boxes and bunkers were in poor shape. Other than that, greens rolled true and pace of play was fantastic.

The course from tee to green is fantastic. However, for the rates that are being charged the greens are horrible. Pitchmarks everywhere. Played here 3 times throughout the 2015 season and each time they were bad. For $95 greens should be in way better shape.

The course and clubhouse are spectacular. I used to play this course for the mid $40 to $50 range. Now priced out of my range. Even twi fees are $75 to $90. Wont do it. I can play Dubsdread for $95 twi. if I wanted to spend that kind of money.

Amazing facility for all ranges of golf. Really a good track to come and play with your mates. One of the best public courses around. Only complaint is that the greens tend to be beat up later in the summer.

The food was poor quality. I had the prime rib sandwich, but was served a strip steak that was so full of connective tissue that I could not eat it. It was a big waste of money.
