Was there for my cousins wedding, looked like a nice place. Appeared newer, and to be a pretty nice clean place. Honestly seemed nicer than the other country club in the area which we went to on accident and had a wedding reception going at the same time. The steak was rather sub par, according to me and others at our table, but the rest of the food was pretty good. The bar does have Spotted Cow on tap, so if you prefer a bit nicer of a beer, they have that, and of course some of your usual Miller and Budweiser. Of course this was a wedding, so this may not speak to day to day usage of the facility.

The essence of the game is magnified on this course. Never before have I played a course that played so true. Fast and firm rolling fairways that are cut just right, greens are in pristine condition and that old school feel of how a golf course should be. No houses line the course and the trees give the course a slight challenge. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the golfing experience for the price. You wont regret coming to play here!

Tom Bendelow , architect of Medinah C.C. #,3 designed the original nine holes. This course has narrow fairways and undulating greens. The fourth hole features a row of big rocks chokes the fairway on either side creating a unique hazard. The back nine begins with a dogleg left framed by the massive Oak trees. The approach plays to a dramatically raised up green located on a nice corner of the course.

Old Hickory is simply a great golf course, club and value. Look forward to playing Old Hickory again this summer while on vacation. I appreciate the fact that they still send me E-mail specials, events and more - even though I live in Texas. Their website is always updated, the food is awesome, customer service is outstanding - nothing but great stuff going on at OHGC.

Amazingly beautiful and challenging course with many rolling hills. Quaint bells. Wonderful views all over..and well taken care of and groomed. Dinner on the tiki lit patio was delicious from drinks through entrees to desert with very reasonable prices. Perfect place for a round of relaxing golf, lunch, dinner or a wedding and reception setting. I will be back.

Came tonight for the Friday fish fry & it was amazing. They have many things on the menu to choose from, too. Then we toured the course - looks like a great challenge and its simply one of the most beautiful courses Ive seen! I WILL be back to golf.
