I just played here last weekend with a friend from out of town, and I am new to the area. My one complaint, its a little expensive. But after playing the course, PAY THE MONEY! This is one of the nicest, best maintained, with friendly staff courses that I have ever played. Just an all around marvel! Lots of elevation changes, more than enough sand, and well placed water make this course a blast to play. If you can break 100 on a regular basis, youre going to love this course. If you are still shooting over 100, probably better golf somewhere else, or youll have a bad day. Manage the course right, and youll score. Guys in the clubhouse where cool as heck too.

We had our wedding reception at stonewolf and I am ecstatic by the awesome job they did. Al Leiner was fantastic. He took care of everything and made it look great in the room. The staff was on the ball with everything we never had a lull with the food service at all. The chef there was fantastic as well. He greated us and made sure everything went well, the food was great. Every guest at our reception mentioned how great the food was. If your still up in the air with where you want to do your wedding and reception go to Stonewolf. Your day will go smoothly and you wont have to worry about anything, THANK YOU AL, DOUG, AND THE REST OF THE STAFF!!!!

Course layout is good, pricing is good, but the conditioning is bad. The bunkers are absolutely horrible and have been for at least a year. Minimal sand in all of them with some traps collapsing. Some greens were spotty and the course is overgrown in some areas too. If Jack Nicklaus were dead, then hed be spinning in his grave to have his name now affiliated with this course! Raise the prices and condition the course!! This should be a premier layout but instead is mediocre.

This has historically been one of the best public courses in the St. Louis area. The fairways and tee boxes are in good shape, but the greens are completely ruined! The greens are more dirt/mud than grass! Not even puttable!! I would recommend heading across the street to Far Oaks Golf Club or even to Clinton Hills Country Club.

A very nice looking course and well kept. I am only a beginner (only been playing for 6 months) so it was definitely challenging. I lost a lot of balls, haha. Another review said if you shoot over 100 than its going to be really challenging and that is 100% true. But its also a beautiful course.

Great layout. A very technically challenging course. The only disappointment were the bunkers. It was disappointing because I spent a lot of time in them and because there was a lack of sand in all of them--it was like playing off concrete.

Great course, and greens were in fantastic shape(played mildly fast). The amenities were also nice. My only suggestion would be to tune up the carts. Bit rattly for this nice of a course. Mine backfired ever time I hit the gas.

Great course. Attentive staff and beautiful greens and fairways. A little pricier than I would like to get a good tee time, but if youre willing to go in the afternoon you cant find a better deal for $40 or less in the area.
