OMG! I needed a quiet peaceful weekend and this hotel was almost perfect. For starters, the hotel staff was beyond FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL! The front desk clerk offered to help me upstairs with my bag, which has never been offered before by any RI staff that Ive stayed in previously. Then I get to my room and it was as clean as clean could be! He gave me a room conveniently located right next to the side entrance so I had very easy access to and from my car. The location was wonderful! Its literally a mile and a half from the rental car facility/airport. Theres a Walmart less than a mile away. Theres also a TGIFRIDAYS that delivers to the hotel! It is located about a mile from Giordanos as well. PERFECT LOCATION! The ONLY thing that put a damper on my weekend was the fact that the air conditioning unit in my room kept going out. It would kick on a little bit for about 30 minutes then go out again. Luckily, its not extremely hot outside otherwise I wouldve suffocated. The constant temperature in my room was about 80degrees. However each time that I called the front desk, they sent maintenance immediately. They did offer to move me to another room but since the hotel was full, I wouldve been moved to a smaller room. I declined. The front desk staff did discount my room for one of the nights. A discount for BOTH nights seemed a little more feasible since the air didnt work either night. But they were so freaking nice that I didnt put up a fight...although I felt like it wouldve been right. Other than that one hiccup, this wouldve been a perfect score!

Clean and convenient location! My perception was it seemed slightly safer than the surrounding area because it was fenced, had security, and in a complex with lots of other airport hotels. We were able to take the airport shuttle to the end of the orange line and take that all the way into the city. The pool room was nice and big with lots of natural light. We had a two-room suite since we were staying a while with kids, and the separation from them was nice. The little kitchen had granite countertops and stainless steel appliances! Lots of little touches at breakfast made this a step up from other places we have stayed. There was brie cheese and vanilla coffee flavoring on some days. Overall, a nice experience and wed definitely stay again.

My Husband and I, along with our 2 and 3 year olds stayed at this hotel while our home was having some major repairs done. We were extremely impressed with this hotel. It was clean, modern and most of all, the staff was WONDERFUL! We stayed here for about 2 weeks and it was great to have a full kitchen, including a stove with oven. Another great plus about this hotel was the great water pressure in the shower. LOVED IT! All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a great hotel with "home-like" amenities.

Wet have several family members checking in and out of a number of rooms for a wedding, Christmas, and a return back home. We have a large dog and a mobility impaired adult. The staff was wonderful, making sure wet got whatever discounts we had coming to us. They dealt with a middle of the night arrival. They helped up find a store to buy some mobility helpers things. Their housekeeping staff made sure our mobility impaired member had confers she could use easily. AND the coffee was good! Cant thank them enough.

Arrived late to find out that theyd cancelled my reservation without notifying me and the hotel was completely sold out. It was almost midnight and practically every hotel in the area was overbooked. Tommy at the front desk called around until he found us a room and even negotiated a better rate. Thanks Tommy for turning the night around!

Very .....nice cozy and clean the pool area is a delite the staff was very courteous and helpful the rooms have a kitchenette a shuttle runs to Midway Airport every 20 minutes where the Orange line can be accessed lots of nearby resturants for every price range minutes from Ford City Mall-pet friendly

Enjoying our stay at the Residence Inn Chicago Midway airport with our two dogs. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Love our room with separate bedroom and kitchenette. My only complaint is actually not the hotels fault but that of other dog owners that dont pick up after their dogs.

WELCOME TO THE GHETTO.THIS F PLACE SMELLS LIKE DOG AND MARIJUANA MIXED.ROOMS DIRTY AND LOBBY SMELLS LIKE HAIR GREASE AND WEED...AND AT NIGHT PEOPLE HANG IN FRONT BECAUSE THEY HAVE FIRE PIT.SO THEY DRINK AND YELL ALL NIGHT.IF ITS NOT FIRE PIT CROWN ITS KIDS PLAYINH BASKETBALL ALL NIGHT.

I never say Super and Clean when describing a hotel but it was super clean. Staff was naturally kind and polite. They had a social gathering with complimentary snacks and beer, wine and brie. Very nice experience. We will definately be back.

The room is clean and comfortable. They even have cooking utensil as well as plates and mugs. Dishwasher is super convienent. The location is really close to stores and restaurants. Breakfast is served daily and is delicious.

Only stayed here over night on a missed flight. Great staff and rooms are alright. I wouldnt advise for an extended stay but great for a quick over nighter

Shower is adequate. Too much noise coming from the street. Not enough toilet paper. Bed is comfortable and Internet is actually pretty decent.
