This was always my childrens favorite part of summer, especially the free concerts. The past two years however, just have not been very fun. The first year they moved the concert into the arena instead of out in the field they also changed how the gates were working. The line to get in took an hour, not that was just ridiculous, and when you did get in there was no way to move through the crowd to get to the concert. The second year at least we could get through the gates without a huge wait, but the concert venue still sucks. I miss the days of setting up my blanket on the grass, bringing my four kids dinner from home, and relaxing with them while listening to awesome music. Now you are slammed into hard seats and crammed against others, no place for young kids to move around so parents have a hard time through the concert.

This was my first year going and I will not waste my money next year the rides were minimal and the pricing for a wristband for children was $30 per child when you have two children under the age of 6 to go on kiddie rides for $60 is absolutely ridiculous not that many vendors very disappointed Ive been to the other fair in Boise and plan on going back this year. However Canyon County will never see me again.. I gave it one star only because there were some bathrooms the kids could use

The canyon county fair is an amazing event! They have acts, food, music, merchandise, animals, contests, and plenty of activities!!! My dad is the entertainment director there, and I help assist the workers. Its family friendly, but a little crowded. Everything is reasonably priced and worth the trip out there!!!!

Browns amusement should never be allowed to run the carnival in our county. They are rude and unprofessional. Several people had issues with them was even reported to the police at the fair as well as fair officials. Something needs to be done about them.

Browns amusments should not be running the canyon county fair at all, they are unprofessinal and rude. I worked the fair for them for the first 2 days of the fair and it was not a good experiance for me. The fairgrounds was clean and tidy though.

Its a nice place, not too crowded. Good livestock. But some of the rides are old, needs more modern rides as well as what they have now. They have some classics like The Zipper, Zero Gravity, and Octopus. I recommend it.

GREAT fair food , great groups that play at the fair, wish I had taken a few pics , there was an food vendor that had " Fry Bread " on there food cart but more or less it was Hawaii style fry bread , passed it up.

Fair admission was reasonable, fair food is delicious, but the game prices are outrageous. Almost not worth getting a wristband for rides, as there were only about 16 anyway.

Our club uses the Heritage Equestrian Center for dog agility 6+ times per year. Very good accommodations for dogs play and events.

Fair was fun. Good food and fun rides. Wish I understood more about the animals. Somemore info signs would be really nice.

Playing games is fun, unless the fair has moved from cash to exclusively tokens. No carneys want to haggle for tokens.

Nice, nice small town fair with lots of youngsters with their sheep, cows, rabbits, etc. Heart warming.

Same attractions year after year. Reliable, but boring after the first few times.
