Jimi Hendrix queried, " Are you experienced?". I say you are NOT until you enjoy the coolest beat ever laid down in Olde Town Conyers & beyond @ Club 908! My girlfriend & I are still purring from the mellow, jazzy mood quintessentially created in this beautifully cozy club/cafe. James Cobbs amazing JCP Project of Atlanta kicked-off our rhythmic journey with one of my favorites - Dave Brubecks "Take Five". Followed by a moving ballad by Marvin Gaye, the vibe only got better! Would they could have regaled us the rest of the evening. However, once we reluctantly released this amazing group, we were totally dazzled by the house band - The Nelson Street Band, delightfully orchestrated by a most vibrant & creative Marty Nelson of Jonesboro & Atlanta. Claiming simple "sound checks" Nelson proceeded to Wow! us with the extraordinary performances of each & every highly-talented vocalist & musician of the 9-person strong ensemble. The exuberant presentations left us spell-bound & very "Happy", which in fact was their fabulous finale. Maintaining the relaxed ambiance in between sets DJ, Calvin Durand spun the jazziness with inspired tunes. As a unique bonus an evocative artist, Tahki deftly completed a lovely painting, masterfully depicting a saxophone player, with a swirling keyboard in the background. We were very impressed that she could finish in the short four or five hours allotted, adding a spectacular, visual goodie to our enjoyment. Kudos to club owner, Kip Stewart, who has most certainly struck the right musical cord for Conyers, featuring a relaxed, melodious groove Friday nights this May. Lets trust she continues this awesome trend!

Amazing Venue! Affordable Price! I recently held my wedding reception and wedding shower here. It was amazing! Not to mention very affordable for my budget. They price the venue according to what section youll be using instead of making you rent the entire venue out for only a few people. We started out renting only the VIP room for the bridal shower because it was only going to be around 40 people. It is beautifully decorated and the room we rented overlooked the entire facilitys dancefloor and bar area. We were able to bring our own food in...which for an event of this size was great for us! The staff was more than willing to accommodate our drinks and helped us set up for the shower...even tho we only paid for the venue space. The shower turned out so amazing we decided to hold the reception at 908...and this time around decided to hire their chefs and service staff to cater and serve our event. Everything went off without a hitch. It was wonderful. And beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone. The two times Ive dealt with the facility has been nearly effortless. I plan on doing my nieces sweet 16 party there next summer! Thanks 908!

The wedding was beautiful but the owner is VERY UN-professional. She was late every time we had to meet up with her, she quoted us a price with food included, we paid the amount in full and the day of the rehearsal, she waited until we were leaving and told us we did not pay for the food. We argued and argued with this lady. We had to tell her that we would make her payments on the food in order for her to go get the food for the wedding which of course I am not going to pay for again. KIP told us one thing and I guess changed her mind at the last minute. She was supposed to rent chairs, that never happened, she was supposed to decorate the chairs, that never happened, and the servers were very rude. To sum it up, this lady will try to RIP YOU OFF, at the last minute and almost ruined our wedding. DO NOT HAVE AN EVENT HERE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS VENUE: We had a wedding reception here. We did ALL of our own decorating. The venue is a great place; however, the owner is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and difficult to work with, she makes lots of promises that she does NOT follow through with and then tries to charge more than contracted. Some of the staff was very good (Quadrick, lady servers, Paul, the audio tech); however, the bartender was rude. I would never recommend this venue even though it has the potential to be a great place, but with the horrible, nasty attitude that the owner has, it is not a pleasant experience. Very unfortunate situation!!!

Had an event here last week. The facility was beautiful, but the customer service from the owner and staff was horrible. Very non cooperative and unwilling to assist in any matter for the baby shower. The owner allowed her staff to be obscenely rude to the point that one of her servers was swearing and rude to many of my guests. Will not ever use this facility again. DO NOT USE. Combative and verbally abused my guests for 4 hours. If I could rate this place a 0 start I would. Shelvia of Creative Endeavors

Ive been trying to contact someone to rent the place and I never get an answer. Must be owned by rich folks who dont need to rent the space to pay rent, mortgage, or taxes. Or maybe you have to be specially affiliated to some club or organization for rentals.

This place (the Owner) does NOT keep any verbal agreement they make with you. After booking and and telling me they was penciling me in and told me they would contact me if any thing changes, they gave away my date.

I made an appointment to look at this venue and no one ever showed up. I called and they didnt answer the phone and no one even called to apologize. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
