Its summer the kids just want to swim. The younger lady at the front desk is always nice and pleasant. They blocked half the pool of for free swim and only allow 30 ppl at a time to swim. Instead of opening the whole pool and allowing 60. Families waiting in the lobby. Oh and the kids have to swim in 4ft 7in water. They have 3 ft but thats the "warm pool" for adults only.. wish I was kidding. Then as the families wait theres no system of ok ppl left now ppl can enter. So you just wait clueless and often for no reason without no notification that you can now swim. They have a ton of life guards so Im unsure why its so unorganized. But I am grateful we have an aquatic center nearby. Showers available but the curtains are stains on the inside. So shower and try not touch the curtain. Stains make it look like its never washed.

I called this location to inquire about their water aerobics and the lady name Monica said that we were having a bad connection and asked me to call back as she started to laugh on the phone after saying we had a bad connection. I called back not once but twice and no one would even answer the phone but rather let the calls go to voicemail. This is horrible when someone is trying to inquire about services being provided by the center. Ill continue to use the South Clayton Recreation location since they are professional and courteous to their members and see about going to Virginia Burton Gray Recreation for water aerobics. Horrible Customer Service by this employee especially when there was absolutely nothing wrong with our connection.

I got great service i go here once evey week and love it there so much to do here and the swimming pool is olympic size and theres always comp on the basketball court

Great family place for indoor swimming, basketball courts with local events. Workout classes to get fit with a small gym with a small fee to utilize facility.
