I have lived in Sanford my entire life and have frequented the Barn a time or two, as well as doing several Budweiser promotions there over the years. After attending a Hip-Hop concert there last night...I am sad to say that I will NEVER return. I have NEVER been so disrespected not only by the staff as well as security in my life!!! As the main event of the concert whom by the way was changed from Juvenile to Trick Daddy the DAY OF the concert was not on stage at 1:35 am, I politely asked if anyone knew if he was still in fact coming on, I was told by the alleged owners daughter very rudely in passing to wait 30 minutes...bear in mind that bars in town close at 2:00 am...so this is 25 minutes until close to see the main event that I, along with 9 other friends who are all very well paying customers and tippers have not seen nor heard anything about...after being told upon arrival that he would be performing at 11 or 11:30. So upon inquiring I asked if I could speak to either a manger or owner- someone in charge besides a security guard. They told me that no one was going to come speak to me at this time. All that I was looking for was an answer as to whether or not Trick Daddy was in fact still performing so I could decide if I should stay or leave as two of my friends had to work at 8 am the next morning, and if he was not, I wanted my $40.00 admission money back (Also upon entering the concert, I along with my 9 other friends were all charged $40.00 a ticket, while I watched about 10 other attendees be charged half the price and were allowed to enter for only $20.00 ???). After asking this question and not receiving an answer, I was asked to leave! One of my friends was picked up and escorted and another girlfriend was physically push out of the front door. When I asked why we were being escorted out of the establishment I received NO ANSWER! So all in all I paid $40.00 to not see the show that I went to see and was treated horribly for no reason what so ever!! I will never go to the BARN in Sanford again and will definitely be spreading the word. As I said I have lived in Sanford my whole live, have met the owner several times whom every time has been very kind to me and I am just appauled by the way I was treated!! If you want to catch an STD just walking in a door, this is your place!! On display are the trashiest girls they can find in the tri cities, which im not sure if theyre running a bar here or a prostitute ring seeing as their employees make out with people on the floor while working (witnessed that). Another girl gave her number to my friend when his girlfriend went to the bathroom! Thursday is full of underaged kids who think they are cool because they go here every week and know the staff *hand clap for you* If anyone was in college about 10 years ago and experienced TDS this is the "country" version of it. Where all that is played is Luke Bryan bull crap, suburban girls dressed in ass less jeans and flannel shirts. Best thing that was here were the police outside

This place is sooo bad. The people are so rude, it smells like throw up. Some guy at the door pretty much attacked me for no reason. I do not recommend it at all. Sanford is so beautiful and this place is ruining it 100%. If youre in the area I recommend Wet Spot, or Kaceys is Lake Mary. Much better

Lots of fun here. They have bikini contests and some guys in boxers judging night haha. I dont remember what it was called, but it was a great time. They even offer line dancing lessons a few hours before they open to the public. Always have good drink specials going on as well.

They only cater to the locals and unless you know THEIR line dances you wont get to dance all night because they take up the whole dance floor. Absolutely hated it. Wouldnt recommend to people that just want to dance for fun and dont take it seriously.

I love going to the line dancing classes. The drink specials are also very good. I would recommend this place if you love country music and if you want a great place to just hang out with friends.
