Snappers offers both food and entertainment. Weve been a few times now. The comedy has been comparable to what we find at Side Splitters in Tampa. A couple of the comedians have been very memorable. The food is usually good, and the offerings are better than the simply snacks/bar food at most comedy clubs. The owner is usually visible and checks on customers. I almost gave a three star rating though. Tonight we ordered the Love Boat for Two. For sushi, it looked like a good deal. My wife had eaten their sushi before and had no issue. This evening the rice was off. Very mushy and a bit warm. Not sure I would order again with this in mind. The seared tuna and cucumber salad were quite delicious. When determining my rating, I took into account our previous visits. Weve always brought friends and always enjoyed the entertainment. This was our first complaint with the food. Tip for non-smokers planning dinner and the comedy show, come early and dine in the comedy club. The main dining room doors open to the outside bar which brings in the smoke.

My wife bought tickets the night before for the 9:30 show because one of our friends recommended it. The comedians were good, especially the first couple and the guy in the wheel chair. But the service was terrible. We went inside about 9:15 for the 9:30 show start and no one came and greeted us except maybe the manager guy who asked if we had been greeted. Then some young blonde curly hair girl came over and by then we probably knew more about the menu than her, and we ordered a pitcher of Sam Adams and some sushi ( which my wife wanted to try because she had her good things). The server said "oh the Jessica roll is named after my cousin" so we ordered that and some others but about 45 min later my wife and I were taking bets on if she forgot her cousins name and our order. Then just as the final act came on, the blonde young curly hair girl came and asked if we wanted to cash out because our beers were still half full and this place sucks. Dont go. Dont ever go. You will regret it

We work in the area in the hospitality field, we order from snappers on a weekly basis and also frequent their bar alot. The staff and the food has always been awesome but unfortunately they brought on a new addition name Jeane who clearly has no idea what the meaning of hospitality is. I am so appalled right now I dont know how someone like that could be considered a manager and have absolutely zero customer service skills. There is no point of speaking out about the altercation that happened because it was such a simple fix but since Jeanes attitude was so disgusting and inhospitable I had to write this review in hopes of someone properly training her on how to be a manager in the hospitality industry. I will gladly return to snappers for their awesome food and drinks after Jeane is terminated for her inappropriate attitude towards customers. I hope your chef is enjoying the shrimp.

Been here many times. Ron White did a surprise show one night and it was awesome. Saw Patrick Garrity and also Michael Winslow. All were hilarious. Not sure about some of these other reviews but Ive never had a problem. Some patrons dont know how to behave at a comedy show. The sushi is excellent and so are the regular and boneless wings. Beer is... well its beer. The mixed drinks my girlfriend had were fine and the staff is always quick and nice. Im guessing maybe some people are just picky or rude themselves. Lots of TVs for sports and the other room gets taken over by Steeler fans so keep that in mind during football. Ive seen some great comedians here. Make sure they are comics you like. Comedy is subjective.

This was one of the first comedy experiences I had and loved it. Bob is one of the best managers in the Tampa Bay. The food was good. I read some of the party poopers comments. You cant judge a place because you didnt like that comedian. Comedy is more about yourself. Headliners dont get to be on stage unless theyre consistently funny. Comedians have one of the most challenging jobs. Most would be terrified to go on stage. It should be on the show dirtiest jobs. If your on the rag or sick or a heckler dont go. No one can make you laugh. Some need a manual, this is a joke, insert laughter here. If you need to forget your worries and want to laugh then gooo have fun!

Snappers Comedy Club is by far the best comedy club in the Tampa Bay area. From the time you are greeted at the door, to being seated, waited on, drinks, food served you feel like a welcomed guest. While your being taken care of by some outstanding professionals you get entertained by the best mix of club entertainers anywhere. Always national talent and its uncommon to see the same headliner in the same year. They do an excellent job at finding the best talent. This is my wife and I favorite place to go when we have a sitter!!! Awesome food, hospitality, and entertainment. I highly reccomend this club for an inexpensive night out!!!! opps.... THE SUSHI IS AMAZING!!!

Had a small problem. Bought the "date night" special bundle which includes one comedy show for two. I did not recieve my bottle...n was told i was not going to get it from management. So i was not happy. Now this issue was resolved by the OWNER a week later. But b warry. They still have not changed their website to show that u wont get the bottle with the date night package. Normally i would not return to an establishment that manager treats me poorly but because of the owner going out of his way to make me happy i will say that i did njoy the show n the food is not badly priced. So in turn as long as u dont buy the date night special. U will have a good experience

If you want to wait 45 minutes for your food this is the place for you. I had (Optimum word here) been a costumer of theirs for over 8 years, In that time bringing friends , family and others here I would guess I spent over $6000.00 there . You would expect hot food to be hot !!! I have now said goodbye and will now be going to Mugs and Jugs up the street. They have hired some new floor Manager that will drive their business in the ground. There are some good people there that I am sure they will be moving on since they will be having a loss of income.

Food was terrible. And i mean absolutely terrible. Im not i e to complain, but this place just beought it out. I got my entree and my fiancé hadnt got her sushi yet...they said oh itll be just a minute...20 minutes later they say oh yea itll be 45 more minutes because of the comedy show. We will never go back. Her margarita was terrible as well. Not made well at all. Disgusting. Not one good thing to say and the staff just acted like it was normal for everything to be terrible.
