I have played this course dozens of times since I moved to the area 4 years ago. Anyone who has played it recently knows it is in rough shape. However, I have to note that over the last few weeks it has started to show signs of potential recover (likely due to the new management taking over). My reason for the two stars is slightly due to the course condition, but WAY MORE due to the treatment given by the new guy at the checkin desk. Far from the cordial and professional treatment Ive been given for years, this new worker treated me and my friend like second class citizens b/c we booked our tee time through golfnow. On top of that, he repeatedly sent one of his workers out to harass us about having two golf carts even though one of us had to leave after 9 holes (and if youe familiar with the course you know that hole #9 is as far from the clubhouse as you can get). I have never been treated like this at any golf course, much less at tiger point. I will give it another try, but if the same guy is there I will probably not be going back.

Tiger Point Golf Course is the finest golf course in Pensacola area. The fairways, tee boxes and greens are over-seeded with winter grass and the course is looking and playing great right now. The greens putt true. The course is beautiful, challenging and fun to play. This course has greatly improved over the past year under new owner and manager, the City of Gulf Breeze. Highly recommend. After golf, stop by the Sunset Grille in the Clubhouse for food and drinks. The restaurant serves good quality food (burgers, wings, quesadillas, sandwiches, soups, salads and other items) and the service is friendly and prompt. There are several beers on tap and the bar also offers wine and mixed drinks. A large HD TV in the seating area may be showing a golf tournament or a football game depending on the season - nice relaxed clubhouse feel to this place.

Had a fun round with my son (13). The staff was very pleasant and lunch was good. They even made a wrap to my sons order. The course had a great track / layout. There were multiple greens that had problem areas and they were pretty slow. Most bunkers were all right but more than a couple needed some love. The biggest negative to this course are the weeds along the rough and even around the greens. I would normally give this 2 stars but I feel like the course needs a little love/money and it would be great. Traveling from 13 hours away and golfing at a nice country club at home,I was disappointed with the overall course. If you go, plan on allowing rolls and placing your ball. I should have done that!

The Course is in sad shape. I have played Tiger Point many times over the years, but I have to say, the course condition this time was terrible. Bare spots on greens, fairways starving for water, greens starving for water. Its sad to see a course that has such a good layout, being let go in such a way. The ONLY redeeming quality of the day was, the two Bald Eagles I saw (between 3 green and 4 tee box) and the Ospreys that were all over the course. If It had not been for that, I would have thought my $49 bucks was completely wasted...

Played this course yesterday. Greens in good condition but slow. Rest of course mediocre at best. Ran into what I presume was a member in the pro shop who was rude and insulted me when I was checking in with an off color joke about my last name. Ill give him the benefit and assume he was drunk at 10 am. The staff in the restaurant was top notch and very professional. Overall would not recommend. Go down the road to HiddenCreek.

Was planning on scheduling my staffs Spring four day outing (Spring 2013) at this place. Unfortunately, this communitys police department abuses drivers with speed traps. I cant in good conscience bring my staff here in numerous automobiles knowing that they will have to pay the local police force to be shaken down - unfortunate.

Terrible experience. It was a beautiful day and it did the course no favors. Paid 31 dollars for an afternoon round and severely over paid. Its a shame what this course has gone to. If youre in Navarre and looking to play golf dont go to Tiger Point. Hidden Creek is a far better option.

The golf course is pitiful, a real goat ranch. It isnt worth the time or a green fee to play. The fairways are overrun with weeds as well as the greens. The sand traps are poorly maintained at best, if at all. If you miss playing here you havent missed anything,

Rough around some greens were 12" tall and only 5 to 10 feet from putting surface.....bunkers were a joke.....rough on fairways was 4-5 inches causing slow play and lost balls. Greens were slow and bumpy. Staff was nice but the golf course just plain sucked.

I play here all the time cause it is the only place i can a membership right now but it could be a lot better if you play here except dry spots and a little flooding but other than that i like it and would recommended 2 play at least once in your lifetime

I had a retirement party on Sunday, 4/3. It turned out to be wonderful. I want to thank Jill and Kaly and bartender, Gus?. They were great. It turned out the way I had hoped. The food was excellent. Thanks, Rose Cunningham.

At the last minute we decided to go to the Sunset Grill for their Friday drink specials and prime rib. The meal was very good and the service was fast and friendly.

The golf course is recovering quickly now that it is under new management. Also, I highly recommend the Tiger Club sandwich from the club house. Its big!

The course was a little. It like goat pasture but it was a fun, even difficult, play to golf. Greens fees were very reasonable.

It was a great layout but most of the fairways were dead and the greens were not cut and had sand on some.

Terrible golf course. Even worse food and beverage. If I had the option to give zero stars, I would.

Fairway and greens in bad shape, price is to much for this course, should be a $25.00 course.
