Positives: 1) Lifeguards are plentiful and take their jobs seriously. 2) There are plenty of slides to keep the kiddos entertained for a while ..... I think Ive covered the good. Negatives: (I dont even know where to begin...) 1) pay for parking? In addition to $20 a person to get in? Obvious cash grab. 2) locker rentals are way over priced. Again, obvious cash grab. 3) womens changeroom/bathroom. Incredibly grungy, damp, gross, super crazy small and old. For how much cash these people are taking in, I can not fathom what in the world they are waiting on to deep clean, or better yet, update it. Im a small woman, so if I think the change rooms are incredibly small, I can only imagine a larger gals difficulties. Its really terrible. The floor is very uneven, so it doesnt matter that there are drains for the water to go into from the changerooms.... The water just pools here and there. Everywhere. Im not sure if I am walking through urine or water. Its super gross. There is no freaking way I am taking off my shoes. I had to give myself a 5-10 minute pep talk just to get changed in there. Im not kidding. 4) I had not planned on getting wet, just went there to read a book and wait for the boys to get bored of the slides. Too bad. Not enough seating so I had to walk to the back of the water park (not bad, its small) however, there are sprinklers/misters covering the sidewalks. You cannot escape them. So now my cushion memory foam flip flops are wet. I shouldnt have worn them to a water park, you are right. But I didnt think I would be forced into enjoying the water via lawn sprinklers. Small complaint, but it didnt help my irritation at this place. 5) they will not allow outside food (water only) so you are chained to their greasepit. Its like this: its a 3 trailor system... Stand in line for 30 mins here and order your food. Then go stand in the drink line for 15 mins to order your drink. Then take your ticket and walk all the way down to this random 3rd trailor that isnt even close to the other two to stand I line AGAIN for 20 mins to pick up your food. I couldnt even tell you about pricing, because as soon as I finally figured out where to freaking order, I noticed that you MUST walk through a sandpit to get there. There is no other way. THERE IS NO other way. So you have sopping wet feet and legs thanks to being assaulted by their sprinkler system, and now I have to get sand stuck to my wet skin just to order? Im not at the beach. How can this be the only possible way to order in this water park? I will not be back. Not ever. Not even if it was free.

I have 3 major concerns with Sunsplash family Waterpark... There are MAJOR MANAGEMENT ISSUES!! 1. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING! I wish i had my phone so i could take pictures of the nastiness.. And Im not talking about a little toilet paper on the ground or somebody forgot to flush... Im talking about the sanitary napkin garbage was ripped off the wall and rusting on the floor, there was dirty tampons and wrapers sitting on top of the tiolet paper dispenser. There was poop on the outside of the toilet bowl dripping down and alot of wet dirty toilet paper around the outside of the toilet. the toilet flusher was rusting I didnt even want to touch it.. it smelt horribly of pee and the mirrors are covered in water marks. And that was the womans bathroom.. my husband said you dont even want to know about what mens bathroom looks like!! There is only 3 stalls and it was dark and dingy the perfect place for mold and fungus to grow and people walk in there with their bare feet. If people dont feel safe going pee in the bathrooms then where do you think they are peeing?? I hope i dont get an infection! 2. You have to be 48 inches tall to ride on the water slides And at the end of the water slides it is 5 feet of water. But your not able to wear your life jacket on the slide!! so my son who is 7 and 49in tall was not able to go on most of the water slides because its 5 feet of water at the end and he didnt feel safe going down a waterslide without his life jacket and jumping into 5 feet of water.. Stupid Rule and NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN! and my son wasnt able to enjoy all of the water slides because of that rule. why do you have to be 48 inches tall with 5 feet of water at the other end and not allow life jackets on??? It doesnt make sense 3. The food service sucks!! ITS NOT LOGICAL.. You have to stand in line at one trailer to order the food, then get back in line at another line at another trailer to order your drinks and then get back in line at a third trailer to receive your food and drinks what a WASTE OF TIME and money! we took a family of four it was $40 to eat burgers and chips with a HUGE RUN AROUND! it took at least 30 to 45 minutes to get our food and it wasnt even busy!! There were 4 people ahead of us!! WHO RUNS THIS PLACE? I WOULD LOVE TO COME IN AND FIX THE MANAGEMENT ISSUES AND MAKE THIS PARK GREAT AGAIN.. GET IT TOGETHER BECAUSE THIS PLACE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE HUGE MONEY!!! The only reason i am giving this place 2 stars is because it was fun and my kids loved it!
