It is a clean environment at the port the kids have plenty playground and swings and toys they can play with and ride on the peoples are very nice will be down there and we have a lot of fun with the kids in the grown folks The Young and the old you play baseball on there tennis what kind of games you want to play you can go fishing there in there thats a good sport and its a lot of shades I love that for it and you meet a lot of people and you have a bike route and it took about a mile to walk around the park that is good exercise for anyone who like to do the walking and its a safe and safe environment for everyone and the people are so friendly and the stores are Reckless by the park you have flat 5 10 miles away to get food or barbecue or nothing its very good Force whats good are they thank you

I love this park. Its beautiful. I exercise here regularly--try to go in the early morning on weekdays and the early afternoons on weekends to avoid the high use times. It annoys me when people drive through here to smoke pot in their cars. Also, in the summer, some groups having parties play their bass way too loudly. But the loop course here is out in the open and is great for women as there is less danger of potential predators. And to jds who rated it one star due to the homeless people--there is one homeless man who lives at this park and bothers no one. He is peaceful and people come and visit him and he keeps to himself. So what is your problem, jds? Find a new park, we dont want your kind here. Someone needs to advocate for the homeless and its obviously not you.

Big park! Great place for picnics, family reunions, sport events, fishing, running, relaxing, and barbecues! Near Route 4 and Maryland Avenue and Newport Pike. About 10 minutes away from the city of Wilmington and I-95 and Route 141. This park has always been a childhood favorite and its a beautiful place to bask in the warmer months.

great for the kids....there r 2 ponds u can fish at...als a playground....great place for birthday parties....big field for sports....walkin trail....trails in woods also.....my kids love it....we do picnics a lot there....go check it out

Beautiful park, had an event here. The area I was at was clean and from what I could tell so was the rest of the park. There are two ponds here and I think two baseball fields. I only went to one pond, it was a nice size pond.

The playgrounds are great, along with the dof park, however the rest of rhe place is riddled with used condoms & trash. Its disgusting anf I dont feel safe there.

Park has a great playground, dog runs, tennis courts, and exercise area. However, the litter in this park can get out of hand. Trails are unremarkable.

Not a bad park. Great for picnics. Can be very noisy. Garbage its all over on the trails. Its kind of gross. Had to stop my dog from trying to eat it.
