A beautiful stretch of the total boardwalk, this part sometimes has interesting things going on near the telescope and bocci court, always has a selection of people watchers, and is very well kept. The bathrooms in the Police Dept building arent always very clean, but its nice to have the option of an actual bathroom rather than the port-a-potty when theyre open. (They usually are in the spring through the fall, but seem to be closed mid-fall to early spring.)

Okay, the park and the boardwalk that runs along the beach are absolutely amazing. From the bocce court, to the beach volleyball competitions, to the live music and dancing organized by the town, this is an incredibly family-friendly place to be. One of the most integrated venues in Connecticut! Dont miss spending a weekend afternoon and evening here.

Very nice boardwalk. Bathrooms are close by. Pretty clean. 1. However, Dog owners need to do a much better job of curbing your dogs! This becomes an unsanitary health issue for young children. 2. The piers are disgusting, due to the fishermen not cleaning up after themselves.

Love going to Savin Rock Park when Im in the area. Such a beautiful and historic location. They have really kept up its appearance and it is always so clean. Dont forget to visit the museum, walk the boardwalk and piers and grab a bite at Jimmys.

The most amazing place in the whole state to hunt Pokemon in Pokemon Go. Jimmies next door is a great place to recharge your batteries, if not your phones. Bring a battery pack and make a day at the beach of it!

Really lovely walking by the shore and with some nice eating nearby so you can take out and eat in the park. Also apparently a local gathering point for bocce ball players.

Nice park with a board walk DJ on the weekends and good restaurants in the area. Just be careful with parking can be a 100 dollars if you park in the wrong area..
