2 adults and my 10 year old granddaughter went there tonight. I *expected* it to be "expensive" but for the price, this place really, really, really sucks. I bought a $100 arcade card ... spent $40 at the snack bar (3 appetizers, 3 soft drinks and a $5 tip) ... and it was another $46 for 3 games of bowling and the shoe rentals. It would have been another $27 if we hadnt arranged to go during the Sunday night special. We had fun... our first time bowling in about 20 years... lol... but I have intentions of finding a better place than this if we are going to try to go bowling a few times a month. We went for their $3 games that start at 6PM. Got there early with intentions of having a little arcade fun while waiting for 6PM to happen. Not a big deal... but lots of the arcade games were not working. Got all settled in to our lane - but it wasnt working so we had to move to the next lane over. Then.... Just *try* and find a bowling ball! There were *no* balls available except for the ones in the lanes. We got there early... and *still* it sucked to have to go into other peoples lanes to see if there was a spare ball that might fit. I have a typical womans hand... and I couldnt find a ball less than 10 pounds with big enough holes for my fingers (I wear a size 6 ring -pretty normal, huh?) Theres no excuse for them to not have the unused balls on the EMPTY racks that are directly behind the lanes. The lane itself was dirty. The ball catch rack was filthy... it even looked like it had blood on it. Nice. There are menus on the tables at the lanes.. but we never had a server come by. We had ordered food before going to the lane... and then one of us ran back to the snack bar to get drink refills. Oh... and we hit the "service" button once and nobody ever came. After bowling, there was quite a mob waiting to check in to lanes... and the desk was understaffed - especially when it seemed that two of the 4 employees behind there didnt give a rip whether people were waiting or not. And the two that did seem to be working were not qualified to check us out. We checked in by leaving a credit card number and running a tab, basically, for the games & shoes. We got to stand in line with those trying to get a lane in order for us to check out. Nice. Absolutely horrible system and customer service.. I wish I could give a negative 10 for their total lack of common sense to have a workable system for getting a dang bowling ball and trying to serve anyone checking out. Just horrible. Then... and Im no prude.... but were leaving at 8:30 on a Sunday night (with no school the next day - its a holiday on Monday) ... and there are explicit videos playing across huge screens above the lanes . Not real wild about my 10 year old granddaughter seeing lesbian sex just because I took her bowling. There were other families there with kids even younger. Shame on you AMF. It takes a real moronic mentality to not be a little more sensitive to what youre doing during early evening hours like that. Then... I did talk to a manager... and he told me that the concept for this particular location is to be for 21 and older *only* after 7 PM - starting soon. He said they are going to start trying to implement that over the next 2 months or so. Makes me really happy I bought an arcade card when this really is destined to be soooooo *NOT* family friendly shortly. What a rip off. If you go... bring your own shoes and ball... and be with fun enough people that you dont notice the horse-crap way this place runs itself. Oh... and eat before you get there.

We had my daughters birthday party here last weekend and it was the most expensive party with the worst service. Very disappointed. They didnt have enough of the right shoe sizes, the food and drinks came out without plates or cups. There was total confusion as to what lanes we were suppose to be on. One group wouldnt leave one of lanes and another thought we stole their drinks. My husband and I spent most of our time trying to find someone to put the bumpers up on the lane, bring us cups, bring us plates, bring us more food because they did not put out nearly enough for 15 kids, bring out the cake, bring out plates for the cake, checking all the kids arcade cards that didnt work, so on and so on. The game cards they gave showed there was $5 on them but they wouldnt work on any of the games. A total ripoff. The staff in the arcade didnt seem to understand why they were not working. These guys are amateurs. Not to mention you have to deal with the sales office in New York which is only interested in charging you more money. We will probably try Lucky Strike next time.

Horrible place! Showed up tonight for my sons 13th birthday and wanted to celebrate with a few friends. Paid $11.18 per person to bowl one game with shoe rental. And then added $9.99 unlimited laser tag. They only got 4 laser tag runs in and they were there 1.5 hours. But the worker who was there let her friends in for free and they never came out and stayed in the whole time my kids were in line waiting to go back in. Food server was nice and felt bad that they charge so much money. No deals at all. We spent $222 for 7 kids to bowl one game, have 4 laser tag runs, 2 large pizzas and two pitchers of soda. What a joke!! All the employees were dumb, rude and didnt care if you liked the place or not. They definitely dont like their job and it shows. Supposedly they were bought out by another company but they havent changed their name yet. No deals. No coupons. And they wont honor their past free bowling cards. We will never go back! Spread the word--go to Celebrity Lanes or somewhere else, but definitely dont go there!

I have had nothing but great experiences at Brunswick Zone. The staff is generally young and likely work part time. The equipment is new and easy to use. Fantastic laser tag and good assortment of arcade games. The cost is on par with most other modern bowling alleys. Pool tables and bar are a fun addition for the older crowd. I used to go nearly every Sunday for the special they run from 8pm-12am, $20 for unlimited bowling, laser tag, pool, and some arcade credits too. I now take my two year old son there to bowl. Soap box time: I wish people would take into consideration of the environment and circumstances before leaving a nasty review. I fully understand the repercussions of a poor review since Im a business owner myself. Often times people spout off before actually calming down and thinking. There is no way this place should have any 1 star reviews, my guess is those people are impossible to please anyways. Also to be noted; I am no way affiliated with the business
