Cogstone has the most amazing beer ! You have to try the Cucumber beer, very refreshing, and the Kolsch The wait staff is friendly and remembers your name. Ive only been there 4 times, but they remember. The pizzas are made thin and there are so many toppings, and flavor that you can pick however you want your pizza. Mine was pepperoni, sausage and artichokes, Yum ! The Barrata was creamy with basil on top and warm, toasted type bread to eat the cheese. I almost forgot about the wonderful fries, so crispy and with so much flavor. I was told that they were fried in duck fat. The music is nice but not overpowering that you cant hear who your talking to. And the atmosphere, relaxing, a great way to end the day. Im so glad that Cogstone is in the neighborhood, my go to place.

Having moved to the Springs from Denver (the Bethlehem of Beer-Snobs), I was worried the microbrew scene would disappoint. Fortunately, it does not! Cogstone is well worth checking out, they have a Belgian Wit that is way more flavorful than it has any right to be and even the stouts and porters I often consider gimmicky (example: "Maple Bacon") were far better than expected. For fellow Denver-ites, think Copper Kettle for a vibe, but with a kitchen! The pizzas were on point, small, but more than enough as snacks for a group or dinner for one.

The beer here is nothing special and owner wanted to make a big deal because I wanted to order the kids size pizza and I wasnt a kid!! I have never heard of such a thing usually a paying customer doesnt get told what they can and cant order off the menu...but dont worry I wont trouble you guys ever again plenty of other breweries in the area that would love my business without hassling me about what I order off the menu great way to treat new people checking you out. You might want to rethink your business strategy!

First off, I like wussy beers like Bud and Coors and Corona, and absolutely hate IPAs. That being said, I tried every beer @Cogstone and thought they were all great. The house IPA was perfect with the pizza and fries we got. I loved the apricot beer and the WitBier. The food menu is tiny but delicious. I was not expecting mainly pizza but it was awesome. Pricing was not bad at all considering how much food and beer we got.The service was excellent (Thank you, Mary!) and I highly recommend visiting soon.

We had samples of all of the beers they brew. All were very tasty; really enjoyed the Raspberry Brown! The pizza was great -- so nice to have food available that is not from a food truck! Since theyre a brew pub, they also offer wine, which is nice. Talked with Mark, the owner, he is very knowledgeable and friendly. The wait staff is very friendly also! Much better service than some of the craft breweries in town and great beer/food!! Can see this being one of our favorite brew pubs in town!

We found this place on accident, and we couldnt be more pleased. The staff was super friendly, the beer was delicious, and the duck fat fries were everything I hoped theyd be. I tried the coconut brown, Irish red, raspberry gose, and apricot wheat. My husband had the oatmeal stout and IPA. They were all good. Very excited to know this place is biking distance from us. Well definitely be back.

This is one of my favorite microbreweries in the Springs. The selection of beers covers a wide range from cream ales to stouts, all brewed with a unique twist. You can definitely taste the love of brewing here! The selection also changes frequently - so, you can definitely come back often and still have many new options. Fresh made pizza and very tasty fries are great also!

Belgian beer week!! Wow, right in my wheelhouse. These Belgians are among the best youll find in town. All the beers have been spot on since day one. The service is great and the apmosphere very friendly. Of all the breweries in CS, Cogstone has risen to the top. (IMHO) Robert and Mark, great job putting this togather. Keep up the great work!

These people make such great beer. They are so on point with the flavors..although the last time I had their cucumber cream ale it tastes like pickles...it must have been a bad batch. But everything else tastes wonderful. The only thing I wish they would do is use real plates and silverware instead of disposable ones.

Im not a beer snob so to say, but I do like local, craft brewed, beers. Every time I go to Cogstone, I get an amazing beer. They have a seasonal selection and a menu of regularly available flagship beers. Plus, the description on the menu really fits the beer. Oh, and they have some tasty pizzas!

If you want beer and pizza, this is a good option. If youre looking for absolutely ANYTHING else, they dont have it. Oh, they have soft pretzels. The pizza was very good. Not fabulous, but very good brick oven style pizza. The duck fries were disappointing. Nothing special at all.

Only great beers, they dont even sell "water beer". Pizza is excellent and good portion. The owners/employees are all extremely friendly and Ive learned all their names. Its never a bad time at Cogstone! Go here, drink beer, eat good food, watch some sports, get to know them!

Beers didnt have a lot of flavor. Server couldnt explain what a dubbel was and seemed irritated at my questions. We ordered a flight of 8 but only got to drink a flight of 7 because they "lost" the eighth beer so that was weird. We will not go back to this brewery.

Beer, pizza, fries. Corner-stores of a great brewery? I think so. All 3 were very good. Service was a bit slow, only one waitress on a Saturday night. This was the only downside... it took us 45 minutes to get out of here. Soured an excellent experience.

Beer is pretty good, the styles need a little work.. IPA needs a bit more hops, and the brown could use a bit more malt. Very drinkable. (Im super picky and follow the Michael Jackson rules) Fries and pizza are pretty good. Friendly staff and fun crowd.

Super friendly, relaxed atmosphere. And they have the most well balanced and flavorful beer in the springs! There is generally something for every palette, creative combinations and traditional flavors for whatever pleases you.

Cogstone makes some of my favorite beers in town. They have a coconut brown that is amazing. They also make a cucumber cream ale that is a perfect summer beer. The food is also excellent. Try the Burrata cheese appetizer.

Such a great hole in the wall brewery. Both brewers are friendly and approachable. Good selection of house brews. If you go, try their French fries, theyre unlike any other fries youve had and theyre absolutely delicious.
