Old Greenwood is one of the best golf destinations I can think of. The Truckee, CA area has some of the best golf I have ever experienced! The area has become my favorite golf vacation destination! End of July thru early August, I am looking for somewhere to get out of the Texas heat, and the Truckee/Reno/Lake Tahoe area is where I head to!

Beautiful golf course set in the mountains. Breathtaking views and lots of very challenging holes. A variety of hazards, including water. The fairways and greens are in excellent shape. There are some very memorable holes. The clubhouse is gorgeous. I couldve spent all day on the patio enjoying their great food and beverages.

If you need a tune-up of your golf game, check out the Golf Academy ot Old Greenwood. Keith is amazing and they have 1, 2 or 3 day clinics available depending on how much you want to learn. Im a repeat customer and Ive improved a ton with Keiths help.

What a great course! Staff was wonderful! Nicklaus is the best and this surely follows that motto!
