Ive been a member at Robinson Ranch Golf Course for 7 years. The greens are the best of any public facility in SoCal, there are 2 courses ( the Valley & the Mountain), both courses are layed out incredibly. No two holes are alike. The pace of play is your choice...you want to sprint through a round, then you can do that.....But if you want to really relax and mosey along with a few mulligans and practice shots, then you can do that as well.....The setting is incredible with 360 degree views......it is situated in a gorgeous nature area.......everybody there is friendly......its never over crowded because there are 2 courses......the club pro, Mark, is easy to deal with, he always is courteous and professional......yearly memberships are reasonable. Robinson Ranch Golf club is a great place to start your day each morning with a round of golf, 18 or 9.... I love the place, my golf and my lifehas improved since I joined there, and I highly recommend the place to anyone who wants to play golf !!!

Great staff, great views. Terrible golf if you pull or push shots much at all. Easy to lose 10 or more balls per round. Greens are 80 to 110 feet deep and 40-50 feet wide with many undulations. The fringe is virtually non existent. No flat fringe, mostly holes and tufts of grass, not puttable virtually ever. Huge, deep traps that can be quite a distance from the pin. If you are a short, straight hitter you might be okay. Fairways are surrounded by little rough, just flat areas where your ball will bounce easily into the bushes, cacti et al and hard to find even if you keep a good line on where the ball disappeared. Play a round and notice what you will be searching in for your balls. If you could find most of them (you cant) it would be okay. On the occasions of finding one, it will be unplayable or not playable directly back to the fairway. I wouldnt play here if it was free

I took 7 of my colleagues to play the valley course on 1-17-15 (Saturday). Having played many times in the past, and knowing how great the course is with many challenging holes. We were looking to have great round. However, Our hopes dispated from the first fairway. The conditions of the course is unplayble. Only thing that was playable was the greens. There were no grass in the fairways. and the fairways are hard and you just cant play off them. The management should be shame of themselves for taking players (full price I might add) and pretened all is well. Another great track going down the drain... All of the L.A. municipal courses are in better condition and playable than here. They really need to shut down for few months and recover from the pathetic condition that is in right now. DONT waste your time making any reservations here for awhile...

Played the course with wife and another couple. The course is in the process of being repaired and we understood that when we signed up to play. The fees are reduced and reasonable taking into account the conditions. The greens are very nice, smooth and pretty true. The fairways are a work in progress in some areas, the traps are abysmal. This was the first time playing this side and there were a few holes which we would play differently if we play it again, had trouble figuring landing areas on dog legs and from elevated tees. The rating of the course is much too high, its not nearly as difficult as its rating. The staff were all friendly and the snack bar was great. Well come back.

I had to stop playing golf here. I was paying them to treat me badly. Jordan, pro in the shop, had good customer service skills but unfortunately he was an outlier. Mgr wouldnt let me play twilight once and even, I was blessed with this experience that is a good example, this is the only place I have ever heard of this: the cart guy waited at my car till I came back and railed at me, "if u Ever come back here, youd better get the cart in before dark!" I was in shock. Its not like i have never worked at a course. I guess he thought I was going to wheel the cart into my truck and steal it? Why would I ever go back? Maybe the banquets and weddings r great but I dont care about that.

This is a staple of the Santa Clarita Valley and sand Canyon Neighborhood. Since the Sand Fires impact on this location, the owner and staff have really turned it around and shifted their focus to quality of service. Sycamore Bar & Grill has also received an updated look as well as a new chef and menu. Drought has greatly impacted this place so instead of watering both courses, they shut down the mountain course, which is the one you see when you drive up, and focused on improving the valley course, which is behind the clubhouse. I see great potential in this place and am excited to see what the future holds.

A course to avoid while dealing with the drought. The fairways are dead, just playing off the hardpan. Unless the course discounts drastically and lets players know honestly how bad the conditions are it should be avoided, and it doesnt look like it will be getting any better as the summer heats up. Honesty on the part of the course would be appreciated but lacking that, avoid, avoid, avoid. Better options exist at better prices.

The new design of the course is going to be fantastic once its all finished!! The back 9 is so much more open, and no longer ludicrously hard while still being a good challenge. Theres some growing pains as they have to repair and fix much of the course, hence the conditions were a bit over-grown as they let things heal. But this is going to be such a gem when its all done being renovated (then it gets the 5th star :)!!

Played for the first time since the course has been re opened. I will say I was concerned because some reviews that were not favorable. Get over it the course is in much better condition than last time its a very good layout and a lot of the additions to the course I like. OK its not 100% but please its better than most public tracks in so cal and the staff is the friendliest around I will visit more often for sure!

Stunningly beautiful golf course undergoing a modification to 27 holes following serious fire damage. Not long (Played off blues not Blacks) but tight and challenging. Dont try and over power it but keep it straight and you can score. Some awesome views of the surrounding San Gabriel mountains. Greens are excellent and subtle but unfortunately loads of unrepaired pitchmarks.

Ive been coming here for the past 5 years and Ive always been satisfied with the service from the staff and the condition of the course. I walk on as a single often and with 2 courses youre wait is never more than 30 mins. The course may not be for the beginners, but certainly not overly challenging. Highly recommended.

Dont waste your money & time. I never come back this course again. Only green is ok. Other than that course is not ready for the customer. Construction going on.

We visited this place for a birthday party. Last time I was here there was a bar. There isnt one anymore. This is not a good thing for a golf club.
