These MFers were the rudest group of people at a night club Ive ever been to! Treated my friends and I like crap as soon as we got to the door! We were calm and ready to party, considered we were sober, and they would let one of our party members join in because his slacks were too loose! Slacks, not homie looking baggy pants either! Said they needed to fit him like theirs, most wearing skinny jeans and tight pants! All while letting everyone else with similar style pants all right in with no problem! F this place!!! Dont ever go!

This place is very trendy and cool looking with loads of atmosphere. Love the neon signs and gogo dancers. It almost reminds you of a mini Vegas in a good way. The place was packed and definitely a scene. The music was terrific too. I do agree that they could do with one less vip area, but there is still room to dance and this did not ruin our good time. Minus one star bc the entire crowd was suuuper young. If i were 23 Id be here every weekend.

DO NOT ENTER!! Tonic is the worst night club ever! The security is extreamly rude and racist. They supposedly have a strict dress code but the bouncers just discriminate especially towards hispanics. They will only let who they want in. Very poor drink service, the bartenders SUCK. The employees who work there are all on different pages one will say something the other will say something different. Again....DO NOT ENTER!!!

If you are a tourist and you enjoy hanging out with trash, college kids and Hispanics; this is your spot. If you enjoy $10 well drinks, waiting in lines and the smell of festering humans; this is your spot. Do not be fooled by the bright lights and drone of house music, it is no way comparable to an actual night club. When will the restauranteurs and wannabe entertainers learn this isnt LA.

Worst service Ive ever had in my entire life!. Spend 370 for bottle service, I walk outside to talk to a girl for a minute and they did not let me back in again supposedly saying "Im too drunk". The bouncers are just jealous they cant pull what I can. Tonic! you missed out on future profits! Never will I recommend your club .

Cons: -You always leave with ringing in your ears -If you go consistently, you will be able to tell the time by the songs on the pre-mixed set the DJ is playing -Drinks cost whatever the bartender feels like at that time -Kind of douchy, like all the frat houses of UCSB made it their hangout spot Pros: -Nice outdoor patio

Last night was the worst experiance ever. I got thrown out for asking for little whipped cream on my shot, because I have sugar diabetes. The bartender had a horrible attitude and told me no he wasnt going to do that. Called two guards to toss me out. This place was the worst Ive ever been to!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!

NEVER GO THERE...This place Employees the biggest A$$^&&(...The bouncers are Raciest,and they over use there authority.And if they dont like you either they wont let you in or they will kick you out after taking your money...they need to get rid of all the staff cause there all dirt bags and start fresh....

We got in the first time and it was supper slow. After we tried to get in again an hour later they didnt let us in just because my friends shirt was not tucked in. He tucked it in and he still didnt let him. Lame!!!!!!!worst club ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Racist door man would not let me in, stating that my pants were too long? Even after I put a cuff in them, they still denied me. A young lady with flip-flops behind me walked right in with no hesitation. Straight up racial discrimination & profiling!

Owned and operated by meat head douches! Security and staff are the biggest joke in SB. By far the worst club in town that attracts tool sheds. Nice outside area too bad I wouldnt go there if someone paid me. I wish I could do a negative star..

Good ambiance and marketing, but the security is sketch. Feeling unsafe downtown is rare in Santa Barbara, but the only times that I have ever felt compromised have been at Tonic...

My wifes wristlet got stolen at Tonic. According to the police officer who took the police report, it happens frequently here.. especially to tourists!

Drinks are bad, bouncers are bad but the interior decor and open roof is pretty cool. Private parties hosted as well.

RUDE staff, TERRIBLE service, only open 3 days a week for 4 HOURS at night..not worth it.. Dont waste your time :-/
