Unfriendly to beginners! We ordered a 18-hole course and expected a wonderful afternoon. But they persuaded us to hire a professional one as we are beginners. They said he will company us for SEVERAL holes and we thought we could finish the others of 18 holes by ourselves. So we expended almost as TWICE as our original price. However, we just see only ONE hole and practiced TWO postures, then they told us it was all finished! They said one and half hour was not a short time but half of the time we just made space for other players and waiting aside! Finally they said we should go to other golf course to practice but WHY they DID NOT tell us before we pay?

Difficult course. 131 slope from the white tees. Could be a challenging yet fun experience, but... ...Too bad the quality of the course makes it even harder. It would be a 131 if it was in good condition. Instead, its a 140 because of the lack of maintenance. Hard pan and dry cracked fairways. Over watered spots with mud. Fairway bunkers that have never been raked and are covered in weeds. They ask you to fix the fairway divots, but dont give you bottles of sand filler to fill them. This course is completely neglected by the maintainence crew. $65 ? Ive seen better quality courses for $45.

This was the worst golf course I ever played. They had more weeds on the tee box than grass. The greens were inconsistent at best. There was not a beverage cart on the course. On the back there were a couple of times where there were 2 paths without telling you which way to the next hole. You have about a mile from the 9th green to the 10th tee and the green to tees on the back are really long. The only things good about the course was pace of play,done in 3 1/2 hours with a 7:30 tee time. Carts were newer and clean.

Great changes have happened to Canyon Lakes. The course is in good shape despite the wet weather. The staff is friendly and helpful and the greens fee is finally within reason. As of last week when I played it for the first time in awhile, its the course Im playing from now on.

Had a party with 100 guests there a few months back. Food was good however the management was confusing with logistics. My sense was something was going on between the owner and GM as I noticed comments and eye rolling whenever I met with them.

Fun course but very challenging and unforgiving. Shoot down the middle but if you dont you can enjoy the views. Bring lots of balls. Good thing they have a brewery coming. Probably the best value Ive played in the Bay hence the 4 stars.

miss leading us cost 100$ more to join a useless course. We buy a 18 hole online, but when arrive there, they introduce someone teach us. We dont even try 1 hole, just do like 1 hour exercise and cost 300$
