You got done homeless peeps or they have homes and pose to be homeless so they can hang out in the park and all for food and money. You also got some people on drugs now and then just walk on to the field during a softball game, they the in field, in the dugout and keep on walking... Trip out. Other than that, the skate park is very very top notch and a street hockey court... Out is it called a field...hmm its on cement.

Great park for skate boarding and for your kids to play. It is clean and well kept and we have not been harassed by the bums here too much. Mitchell park is a challenge in this regard. Lots of nomadic voluntary homeless drug adicted wayfarers flock to SLO for the nice weather and excellent free services. Parks are often challenged by them. This one is pretty good in this respect.

As far as parks go, this is one of the best in the city. It has restrooms, a great newer playground, large grassy area with trees, sports fields, dual purpose basketball courts/roller hockey rink, and a new skate park! Your kids will never run out of things to do at this park.

Came for the skate park ... no bikes. But that didnt stop me:) The bowl is amazing. The other areas are also great. Good transitions, overall great quality park. Cops came within 30 minutes of me being there but I have a feeling it was because of the transients smoking pot.

Nice park located in the center of San Luis Obispo...public restrooms are clean ....theres a skatepark on the north side of the park...tennis courts...plenty of shade and a creek that flows seasonally...

#LocalGuids #RollerDerby The hockey rink is where we usually go. Since they upgraded it the rink looks a lot better. It is a nice location to go and watch the local roller derby games

Has a fancy skate board ramp setup, has a little league baseball field, just a great park to eat your lunch or just kick back In the sun. Oh, and dont forget the horse shoe pits

Really decent park as far as public parks go. Not a lot of play equipment, but they did build a massive skatepark, which is awesome. The fields are also in great condition too.
