This small, pleasant museum recently re-located to the rapidly-growing Dogpatch neighborhood. The location is excellent, handy to chocolate, ice cream, cheese, and the Illinois Street bike lane. Coming from the Mission? Take the 22 Fillmore. Coming on CalTrain? Get off at the 22nd Street station. I was here last week for an extremely well-catered event. This place is big enough to accommodate your event and cozy enought everyone will feel at home

Its a very unique place to visit. Lots of arts and crafts, videos throughout the museum explaining how wool are use in soo many ways. Arts and crafts hand on workshops. The employees were all nice and friendly. They welcome you in and smile. Thats what makes it a nice environment. No one following you around, you can sit, relax, watch the videos, and read the printouts of everything they have in there. I really enjoyed that MUSEUM.

If you love Craft, Design, Art & Museum then come and welcome The Museum of Craft and Design to the Dogpatch District! Im super excited they are here. Its a great place. They also have monthly events besides the exhibits. Its a great place to keep up with different artists and designers. The space is fantastic, too!

This is a really cool museum. The exhibits were really fun and cool to look at. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. We also loved the way everything was set up and the overall feel to the museum itself. If you are in the area be sure to swing in and check it out.

Really cool little museum. Very little. The exhibit was really well done and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only reason this isnt five stars is that it is SO tiny. By no means a waste of time. Visit when you have a free hour between other activities.

We came here for a special event and they were serving beer and wine- it was a lot of fun! The instructor was nice and knowledgeable. The gift shop had a lot of cute stuff including handmade post cards, trinkets, and jewelry.

The group of designs from Holland were amazing and endlessly fascinating. Well set up and easy to approach. More of this kind of show would be a very welcome addition to the list.

Great little museum, has very interesting exhibits, often times at the forefront of technological applications in art, showing modern art not often seen elsewhere.

Super small ... for the price of admission I thought there would be a bit more to it. I enjoyed what we saw, there just wasnt much. Lovely gift store.

The wool/felt exhibit was amazingly informative. This is what a museum should be.
