Last night my husband and I went out for drinks with some friends and we decided on chaparral lanes for darts and karaoke. My husband and I ended up spending about $40 on drinks for the night. We had a fun night. The people there are friendly. We payed our tab with our debit/credit card. I went online today to check our bank account and discovered there were three different charges for our drinks. None of the transactions were the amount on our reciept. I totalled the 3 transactions up and it was a little over $125 dollars. I called to talk to someone about this and ended up getting the owner. I explained to her what happened and she quickly interrupted me and said that is how their software does debit/credit cards. I thought this was a bit absurd a $40 dollar tab and being charged $125. She informed me that everything would eventually go back into our account but it will take a few days. I made the comment that maybe the person handling the transaction should inform the customer that if it is a debit card that you may see a large deduction from your account instead of your actual bill. I can see maybe rounding it to the nearest dollar but come on really a $40 tab and being charged $125 is pushing it way over the limit. On top of all that its a weekend so it may take even longer for their system and the banks to update and put the money back into our account. The way the owner talked to me on the phone was rude and I honestly dont think I will ever give them my business again and probably will let everyone we know what happens and how ppl are treated when they have an issue that is clearly the owners responsibility to fix. I would suggest that if anyone does go there to spend any money whether it is on bowling or going in the bar they should pay with cash! I think this is total bs. We go to serveral different bars to hang out with friends and have a good time and not one of those places has ever taking money out of our account that wasnt on our bill!

I took my children here today for a game of bowling and the game shut off in the middle of playing. When we asked the front counter to fix it for us, we were told that we would have to pay more money. When we tried to explain the error, the so called owner "Ahmad" stated that he was being reasonable. Being a PTA Board Member, my best advise is to take your children elsewhere. This place doesnt know what customer service is and it is unfortunate that they are in this city. Take your children somewhere else for a day of fun, youll be glad you did!

Great experience in fun and business here. The owner is very fair, honest and hard working. Have had weekly meetings, periodic luncheons and group bowling times for several years and things have always gone well and financially very reasonable. This is not just a one time experience it is over several years. Chaparral Lanes gets a big recommendation and 5 HUGE STARS!

A birthday party disaster. They were grossly overbooked and took no time in dealing with my son or my birthday party. There was not honesty or communication with regard to the oven being broken, thus the pizza was very late and burnt. No one assumed any responsibility for the lack of service, organization or deliverance of promised goods.

Took ten poeple (3 familys / kids ) they way over book went to extend my time wait in lane by time got to pay they already sold lane to someone else try sell me some else lane before they were down. Management very bad game very bad I spent over $250 ther wont go back

Compared to other local bowling alleys, this place seemed a bit run down. The machine that feeds the balls back broke for a while. We had nearly 8 balls disappear and it took a bit longer than it should have to have someone come and take a look at it.

The place is full of white people with a local country night club near by and all they play is hip hop music at the bowling ally on Saturday nights. Wtf? They need to take a poll from their customers to find out what type of music they prefer.

Great staff and friendly customer service. We recently had a bowling party there and had a great experience. There bar also has great craft beer at a good price. It has a great nostalgic feel to it!

Clean and fun... the bar is petty good for being a bowling alley bar, it has 3 or 4 pool tables and 3 dart boards along with a couple of tvs for sports. Food is standard and prices are ok

The machines broke all the time. The service was very limited, meaning it felt like there were five people running an entire crowded place so getting personal service was impossible.

I come here once a year with the Claremont Chamber for a charity bowling event and I always have a blast. The staff is friendly, the site is clean and the bar area is wonderful!

Location is eady to find, lots of parking. Nice bar and for a bowling alley the food is fresh and they actually grill their hot dogs. Lanes are up to date and seating is good.

Always a wonderful experience been coming here since jr high although recently they changed the snake bar menu and it doesnt appear to be as appetizing as the original :(

Pros: Good prices, clean lanes. Cons: If youre there past 9 hopefully you dont have children with you. Dj plays music that is not appropriate for young ears.

Really bad service!! Do not bother playing the game machines they will just eat your tokens and staff dont care. Will not be coming back here ever again.

A great place, very good service. Tip: go after 10pm and u can bowl till 1:30am for 15$ including the shoe rental. Good lanes, well maintained.

Fine place to go bowling. Majority of the pool tables dont have proper amount of billiard balls. Karaoke is available, along with Jenga.

Pins kept falling down on reset and the balls kepts getting stuck. Its cool and all, but might be time for an upgrade.

This is a very good high amenity bowling alley. Sometimes it opens 24 hours a day. I like it. Contains 48 lanes.
