It was quite beautiful and fun to taste and learn about the history. The lunch was meh, the waiter tended to insert himself into our conversations no matter how inappropriate ( I can say with certainty that there was mansplaining involved), and the wine was really just much too sweet for my preference. The people in the tasting room were nice, but it was a little uncomfortable when they completely disagreed on which order to pour wine in and then tried to discredit the other. Have to say that the church wine, which is apparently what kept them in business legitimately through prohibition, was like SYRUP but quite a doozy at some high level of alcohol. Nice place and people, but not my speed really.

I happen to live about six minutes down the road. I enjoy all of their wines, but especially, Chianti, Peach Sparkling Wine, and their Rose. We usually hang at the bar, but have enjoyed the dining room as well as enjoying music on the patio during the summer. If they have the Swordfish, get it! Very comfortable place to kick back and relax. Theres also a garden area available for special events. The tasting room/gift shop always has new and interesting items. Every employee that Ive met there has been friendly and helpful.

Recently, Experience Italy, held a Client Appreciation Event at Frasinetti. We began with a wine tasting then moved onto an olive oil tasting, graciously hosted by Bariani Olive Oil Then a light lunch of a variety of antipasti was served. The service was excellent, the food was very well prepared and overall the atmosphere could not have been better. Frasinetti provided the perfect location for a successful event. I have been coming to Frasinettis for almost 25 years, sometimes missing it for a few months, but i always come back. Howard & Gary have always excelled at seeing the food & service is outstanding. In so far as the setting I think it is uniquely quaint italian. I have clients that I have taken there many times for lunch and never hesitate to do so. In fact they are now taking friends and associates there. the below bad review is not at all what i have found, in fact exactly opposite.

What a great place for a wedding (been to two there), great food and fun wine tasting! Howard Frasinetti is very friendly and accomodating - Had two great experiences - great food- pretty garden, cute wine tasting room, did I mention great food? Have had both the prime rib and the salmon. Big servings and fabulous taste! You gotta try it! Im going back on my own for certain..cant wait!

Gorgeous location. We chose to visit the tasting room & the man running it was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable & explained each wine before we tasted it. Wines are amazing, first Winery Ive been to in Cali that I asked if they shipped to other states. Wines are affordable. If I come back to Sacramento, Im definitely coming back & stocking up again!

Went here for drinks after dinner in the area. The wine selection is superb and the flights were a really good way to try their diverse menu of wines. I especially liked that they carried wines from small limited release vineyards. The truffles were a perfect pairing to their luscious red wine menu. We will definitely be stopping by here again.

The staff is wonderful the owner introduced himself and offered a tour of the grounds. We did the wine tasting and the lady was very knowledgeable and asked questions as to what I like and suggested wine to match. The pricing was great not to expensive at all. I love the feel of the place. I am coming back with friends!

I go to frasinettis at least once a month for the past 6 years. I have something different when I go mothers day brunch is the bomb. The person who gave bad review has to be a person who would compain about water too bad for them. In fact I am going to lunch next week

As far as the red wines are concerned, these are barely drinkable. The reds are too sweet. The selections are very limited. The grape bouquet is missing. The generous tasting servings dont make up for the weak quality. Heads up... dont go wine tasting on a warm day.

Outstanding, The French Laundry in the Napa Valley only in Old Town Florin. The food, service and people are 5-STAR. They have food for all tastes. You can feed your family with a WORLD CLASS meal and still be able to go to the movies afterwards.

Do not listen to the bad reviews. I go to this restaurant at least once a month and every time it has been fantastic. Grandmas Pot Roast is so good. This is my favorite restaurant in Sacramento.

Ordered the "home made pot roast". Got a 2 oz chunk of pot roast on top of a mound of spaghetti. Favor was not bad, but also nothing to write home about. Priced decent for a sit down lunch.
