We saw The Foreigner there and enjoyed it. This serious play was a far cry from the boo/hiss melodrama of my college days in SLO. They serve simple food. Id recommend the chicken wrap and grilled chicken salad. Hot dogs and nachos were the same as youd get in a movie theater. We had table seats which are crowded when eating, but fine for the show. The best seats looked to be row C1 - you look over the crowd, have your own area to set your drinks, and easy access to the aisle. The third act vaudeville review was more fun that we expected. Overall it was a great way to spend an evening. If you support local theater - and you should - then get tickets and enjoy the show.

Wow! I had no idea something like this could be so entertaining. This is not my kind of thing, I was dreading going, but I committed so I was stuck. Two minutes into the show I was laughing my rear off! Unbelievable how hard the cast works, what an amazing show. I am a bit of a grinch and this show warmed my heart. Highly recommend this show to anybody looking for a fantastic night of entertainment for the whole family! A huge THANK YOU to the cast and crew for enlightening me on how much fun something like this can be! I am looking forward to the next chance to return to this amazing place and its wonderfully talented cast!

ticket office staff: I was so disappointed in the staff that spoke to me in regards to my tickets. I wanted to go pay cash at the ticket window and the refused cash and demanded visa! the girl was sooo rude and had such bad customer service! when I called back with a visa number the second staff person I spoke with was better but brushing me off when I shared how rude the past staff person was, this one acted as though she really didnt care. other than that the show is awesome and my family truly loves attending although I almost was not going to go to the christmas show this year because of the way I was treated.

You get to try everything, even breaking type-casting, to stretch your abilities, and become your best version of you. As a first time experience, I had an absolutely awesome time. I wasnt expecting to laugh as much as I did. I was in tears with giggle fits. Such a great atmosphere. The performers were amazing and interacted with the crowd to a level that let you know that they were not taking themselves too seriously. Would recommend to anyone for a good time. Fair prices. Definitely got my monies worth.

Enjoyed our evening very much! What a terrific surprise to find such BIG talent in such a compact venue. The seating on the floor is tight but there are two intermissions and you dont even notice once the show starts. I would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks for the "How the West was Really Won" show and a great celebration of my parents 55th anniversary.

The food and refreshments are unremarkable, and the location is unlikely, but zOMG! Watching the actors leap from role to role, both at the front door, in the kitchen, and on the stage, was mesmerizing. We watched one of their shows with our grandkids and we all enjoyed it so much that were all going back again to see the other. Excellent!

A great experience both times I went. Trudy and the Beast was a wonderful experience, and the Cast did so well with the play. They are really good at impersonating, and the whole experience was pleasant. Im 15 by the way, and that may say a lot if someone like me thought that this play was very fun and interesting.

Great experience overall, I would go again, and I would recommend veterans and new people to go to the melodrama for a fun time. Its also a great family event, at least it was for me. The cast makes it very immersive, and even the concession people are actors.

If you need to get rid of some stress, you will get that relief at the Melodrama. Enjoy a great meal, laugh till your sides ache and your eyes tear, sing your heart out and join in the merriment of birthdays and anniversaries. Love the Vaudeville reviews too!

A must see if you are here at the beach great night activity. A full service theater. Wine, beer, popcorn, snacks and desserts something for everyone. Dont miss out. I saw the Holiday Extravaganza with my family would love it to be a yearly tradition.

It was a great show and the actors and actresses really portrayed their characters in awesome fashion . It was a great show for a great price and also children friendly and the interaction with the crowd was really cool as well !! Cant wait to go again

Been twice before and loved it. Totally disappointed in Karaoke Kid. Putting a new spin on the melodrama didnt work for us. We left at first intermission. Waste of $100 for 4 tickets.

Ive been a subscriber for over 20 years. Great shows at really good prices. They have a really good food there too. Dont miss the Christmas show. Rappin reindeers are the best.

Usually sold out shows, its a bit cramped, but it is designed to be a interacting vaudeville place, and it is very successful at that! Always a great time here, always!

Saw the holiday show. So much fun and my 7 year old loved it. Still singing the Reindeer Rap. Seating was cramped and snacks were overpriced but the show was so much fun
