Wow! Great wine tasting experience last weekend - and even better service - knowledgeable smart and fun group of ladies. A nice mix of cab, pinot, chardonnay and other blends - at affordable prices with special deal prices for volume purchases. It turns out the place has been taken over by well know wine entrepreneur Frank Leal (owns Leal Winery in Hollister and a few other places) and hes got plans for bigger and better, which supposedly includes food, picnic area, entertainment? Sounds great. Lets just hope the wine continues to improve as much as the rest of the operation.

We arrived for a tasting, and were turned away in the parking lot because we were traveling with our adorable and well behaved 4 yr old girls. They offered a coupon for a free tasting if we returned without the children, which was thoughtful I guess, but no thanks. If one of my party is not good enough to attend, none of us care to.

I tried to contact this winery for two days to place on order. I called multiple times and sent an email. I received no response. Im assuming they had a reason to ignore my attempts, but there was no message on their answering machine to indicate that they were closed, etc. This is no way to run a business.
