I recently came to this theater to watch KTown Cowboys as part of the Asian Pacific Film Festival. The theater was a bit hard to find until I got there and realized, Ive totally been to this quad before! The theaters located next to the Japanese Buddhist Temple (exact name escapes me at the moment), and the entrance of the theater faces the quad. People collecting tickets are right at the door (one entrance), this is pretty much a 1 show/screen large theater of a semi-sphere. There are multiple doors into the theater based on where your seats are located. Overall, comfy seats, good audio, large stage and screen. To my knowledge, a lot of independent films are shown here, especially during the film festival, and the cast/crew will come up on stage afterwards for Q&A. I also understand that there are live performances as well. At night time, can get sketchy, safety in numbers. My buddy and I were approached by a guy (doesnt seem to be homeless) asking for money in a demanding way. Street parking only, some meters are free after 6pm while some say after 8pm. Read the signs carefully. Id totally come back to this theater again in the future for another event!

Definitely a place to stop and rest at while visiting Little Tokyo. They rebuilt the outside garden not too long ago so it looks amazing and so tranquil for being smack dab in the middle of Downtown LA. Due to all the water features, you dont hear any of the street noise. Ever since the Hilton bought the New Otani Hotel, the sky garden has been closed to the public which is too bad since that one was really nice too. Most of the building is closed off from the public but during festivals they fill the rooms with many different Japanese arts and crafts so its fun to go see everything and the artists tend to be there making their art in front of you.

The JACCC has been opened to different music and performances of different cultures through the World Festival of Sacred Music series. Its amazing to see how the public has honored this direction, making the performances utter full houses all the time... Congratulations to the team at JACCC, to the WFSM team... and to us enjoying these great shows.

I had a great experience trying to reserve a venue space for a series of events. Marlene was very patient and accommodating despite the chaos coming from my end. We ended up going with a different venue due to logistical requirements but I had a great experience working with them and woukd definitely try to use the venue again.

Great events held here often. The JACCC is host to programs, ukulele fun, nonprofits and classes (I took night classes from CSUN in here to get my masters!) Stop by and check out the awesome stuff they have!

This place is so serene, its amazing that its in the middle of a huge building in the middle of downtown Los Angeles! And its free!! You have to experience it to understand. Go see for yourselves!

Took some photos by the amazing garden, but I honestly go most of the time just for U-space where Jason Arimoto has an ukulele shop with service and cafe. It is ukulele heaven in DTLA.

This is a biased review as I know the people who work here. They are a hardworking bunch bringing great talent and cultural events to Los Angeles.

Beautiful Japanese garden. However, parking is hard to get on the street. I recommend parking in one of the structures on 2nd or 1st street.
