City of Long Beach sponsors some great events. One of those is the annual Land Meets Sea camp. Years ago some buddys and I, all of us have spinal cord injuries, we decided to put on a sports camp for people with disabilities. It was a huge success. A few years later, Casa Colina Outdoor Adventures took over and it got bigger and better. Marine stadium has hosted this! wonderful and inspiring annual event for the last 22 years.

Attended the annual Land Meets Sea Adaptive Sports Festival hosted by the Casa Colina Rehabilitation Hospital and the Triumph Foundation. Adaptive water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, rowing, basketball, hockey, rock wall climbing, rugby, and more. Awesome event! The park is very accessible, including the parking and restrooms. The grounds and water were clean, and reasonably kept. Looking forward to next year!

This is one of the most exciting parks in the beautiful city of long beach! From live music festivals, farmers markets to the x-games this is where it all goes down! And when it does hundreds maybe thousands of people all come together to enjoy dozens of events!

Its well kept, Ive never seen it to crowded unless there is am event going on. Becarefull at low tide section of sand nearest the bridge has wooden post that stick out. Also been told there are cement slaps but never seen those.

Marine Stadium has its pros andns.. first ... My comments are I am.mucho moo. thar I have a place as hat wading and swimming are not permitted as well as no dogs allowed. NO camping or overnight parking ,

Fantastic place to water ski, or even watch the skiers navigate the Marine Stadium. Closer to the 2nd street side (South End) is protected area for wading into the water and picnic and children play areas.

Great place for the Sprint boat races every August. Ks, GNs Prostock, Super stocks and Crackers! Those that have complaints about it obviously dont know the Stadium was built by a Racer for racers!!!!!!
