Last night, I took my elderly mother and two adult sons to see the Carlsbad, CA, production of Oklahoma. The show was marvelous! The entire cast was great and believable. Especially impressive was the singing. All were wonderfully trained singers, with perfect intonation and each had great vibrato. It really wouldnt be fair to mention one or two, as all were outstanding. This live production was so much more enjoyable than any Hollywood film. The theatre, as I understand it, is newly remodeled and is intimate----not a bad seat in the house. As a classically trained professional musician myself, who has played in hundreds of major Los Angeless professional productions, I can say that last nights performance was on par with any production at any venue in the Los Angeles area. Do yourself a favor by attending an afternoon or evening performance of Carlsbads production of " Oklahoma." Youll be glad you did! David

Ive seen many community theatre productions in the San Diego area and the performance of Oklahoma I saw here was by far the best. Wonderfully professional and entertaining. The theatre has been remodeled and is very clean and comfortable. Everyone from the people who gave us our tickets to the ushers were extremely kind and welcoming. I wish they had better information about parking on the website. We were coming from San Diego and do not know the area. We figured it out, but it would be nice to have the information ahead of time.
