This is a really nice park, its right next to the 5 freeeway, but that doesnt cause as much noise as youd think. The park is slightly hidden at the end of a residential "dead end" street, parking is plentiful during the week and the park itself is very well maintained and clean. There is plenty of grass area to have a picnic, play a pickup game of soccer or football or to just relax and take a nap. They have a covered area with tables which would be perfect for a birthday party. They have a small set of swings for toddlers on its own patch of sand, although that sand seems to be infested with small winged insects that burrow there. I tend to stay away from there, which is a shame because I have a 2 year old and she loves swings. There is a larger playground area with plenty of slides and jungle gym sets to accommodate a large number of children. Overall, its is a great park to be enjoyed in a plethora of ways, just wish theyd tackle that insect infestation in the small sand area where the toddler swings are located.

A friendly park, close to the freeway and major crosstreets, but completely fenced off from traffic. You must go through the back alley of the neighboring business to get to the parking lot which is a blessing in disguise for those having a BBQ, or picnic. If you need more chips, drinks, or steaks because your turnout was better than expected... No worries. Ralphs Grocery Store is a moments walk away. Great jungle gyms for the kids. Sandbox and slides. A fitness course for the older kids. Plenty of green grass and clean surroundings for those wanting to take it easy. Being fenced in is a wonderful way to keep kids out of the street. Conveniently located, near the 605 and I-5 freeways, at Lakewood Blvd.

Recently attended a birthday party here. Lots of room for kids to run and play. Bathrooms were ok. Park was clean. Only suggestion would be if you are having a party and rent the pavilion, bring trash bags and make sure staff empties out all trash cans before your party starts.
