Deplorable customer service - (Assisting my father with writing his review) - My parents recently visited this winery with 2 friends, after all day tasting, and purchased multiple bottles of wine from Macchia as first time customers. They wanted to go sit outside and enjoy some snacks when the women chose which new bottle to open. As they set up the men poured two glasses of beer, unaware the winery had a policy about not allowing outside beverages. The female owner approached them and abrasively demanded they poured out their glasses because outside beverages. Once they knew of the policy they would have respected it if the owner hadnt been so blatantly rude. But before they had a chance to respond to the request, this woman reached out and grabbed the glass from in front of the mens faces and dumped it out herself. This could have been a pleasant trip resulting in repeat business, however her attitude and abrasive actions are unacceptable, ESPECIALLY for an owner who is trying to be the face of her business. Shes lost their business, and all the potential business of our extensive friends and family.

My first wine tasting ever at a winery and it couldnt have been better! What a Great group of people! Friendly, knowledgeable and just fun to hang out with! Wines are excellent! I am a club member of course.

A must stop on your wine tour. Every wine was great. Very friendly staff and nice grounds and tasting room. They were very creative when giving their wine names. I wanted one of everything.
