About a couple of weeks before the event there was a meeting to discuss the arrangements. At the meeting the following was discussed for the day of the event: - the table for the cake was going to be by the head table; - the appetizers and the bread were going to be on the tables so guests can snack on appetizers while waiting for everyone, and the entrée was going to be served after 3:00 pm, after all the guests had arrived; - the piano was going to be in the reception room and music was to be playing as soon as the guests started arriving; - I was to call the Country Club to notify that the ceremony was over and the guests would start arriving at the Country Club Here is what happened: - The piano was not in the reception room as it was brought in the reception room in front of some guests after I brought it up to the lady supervisor that the piano was not there -> THE LADY SUPERVISOR CLAIMS SHE HAD THE PIANO BROUGHT IN AS SOON AS SHE NOTICED IT WAS NOT THERE WHICH IS COMPLETELY FALSE SINCE I BROUGHT IT UP TO HER ATTENTION; - The head table was missing silverware – there were 2 knives for 6 people -> THE EVENT COORDINATOR WHO WAS NOT AT THE COUNTRY CLUB DURING THE VENT LOOKED AT THE LADY SUPERVISOR WHO ONLY SAID “WE SET UP THE TABLES” AND ASKED US WHY WE DIDN’T REQUEST SILVERWARE =- BECAUSE WE PAID YOU A LOT TO TAKE CARE OF THIS FOR US, DUH; - The bread was not on the tables– it was brought out after the guests started eating appetizers (about 3:15 pm) and was not fully cooked (it was of a light gold color, instead of golden brown as normal, still eatable, but not fully cooked); - The servers and the supervisors were not on the floor checking on guests – I had to go ask them to fill up the carafes at the head table with lemonade and to also check on the guests; - The servers did not check on the guests to see if they wanted more coffee; - The cake table was not by the head table, but on the opposite side of the reception room, between the main door and the side door to the patio, where it was specifically requested not to be because of the kids running around -> THEY SAID THE TABLES (LOOK AT THE “S” AT THE END) WERE SET UP AS REQUESTED. THEN WHY WAS THERE AN EXTRA TABLE FOR THE CAKE WHERE NOT REQUESTED???; - The appetizers were not on the tables - the servers brought them out after the guests arrived -> THEY CONFUSED THE APPETIZERS WITH THE ENTREE; - Both my mom and I were looking for either the gentleman supervisor and/or the lady supervisor and had to wait about 5 minutes in front of the kitchen until a server came out and when asked about one of the supervisors they had to go look for them; - Another time I had to go in the kitchen to look for the lady supervisor as there were no servers and/or supervisors on the floor; - People did not know who their server appointed to the table was as servers kept on changing for the same table. After the event we felt that the service was not up to the full cost of the event, therefore we only made a partial payment. We ended up paying in full 2 days later when I handed the event coordinator a complaint letter for herself and for the General Manager. WILL KEEP AN EYE OPEN TO SEE IF WE HEAR BACK, WHICH I HIGHLY DOUBT IT BECAUSE OF THE WAY THEY TREATED US. The food was good, but the poor customer service is awful! The way they treated us and how disrespectful they were in their answers to our complaints is extremely sad. The event coordinator made me feel like I my word was nothing in front of her when she was looking at the lady supervisor and repeating whatever she was saying, even though the event coordinator did NOT coordinate the event herself.

Calling this place a "Country Club" is at best a MISNOMER! Its actually more "Country" (as in outback, backwoods management) then "Club"! We arrived early so as to take advantage of the driving range and chipping area, I purchased a bucket of balls, my golfing buddy however did not, as he desired to practice his short game. I asked him if he wanted to hit the remaining balls that I had, when the staff from the pro shop saw him hitting balls they said he had to pay for a bucket, we explained that I had already paid and wanted to share the rest with him, a heated diatribe ensued! We couldnt believe they had the temerity to request something so patently absurd!

Union Hills is no longer a country club, golf only, even though they have a swimming pool its kept closed,they also have two beautiful kitchens but do not serve food, only hot dogs and hamburgers outdoors for the golfers therefore I do not consider this a country club

Worst experience at a county club. I got a deal online and was treated like a second class golfer. WOW because I got a deal I had to wait 45 minutes until another golfer showed. it was all about the money would not let me go as a single with a cart. Really !!

Grass???? The fairways were terrible no grass the greens are very grainy and overall people at this place just not nice skip it go play desert Springs or Peeblebrook...

I was at a party at the Country Club. I could not ask for better service, food, wait-staff and management. Excellent!!!! 5 stars!

Great condition, nice layout. Greens are pretty quick. Plenty of merchandise to to choose from in proshop. Very friendly staff.

Classic Sun City layout. Mature trees, well kept. Friendly staff. Good practice / warm up area.
