Neat place, the route 66 museum upstairs is wonderfull. Nice representation of dust bowl history. Also interesting display on a local photographer who helped make the area famous with his images. The price for entry to the museum is worth it because you also get the electric car museum, and the Mohave museum down the road, along with one other. All four 4 dollars.

2014 I have visited this museum on my ride along Route 66, of course. Route 66 was also known as Road of Desparation. After visiting this Museum you will know why. Some of the old photos are very touching. You can see the despair in the faces. Now Route 66 is a long museum across the U.S. for tourists. I can strongly recommend a visit.

Visited Kinsman, AZ in May 2016. Stopped by this place to inquire about the local attractions. The older gentleman gave me a friendly "first-class" service with tips where to visit during my drive to Grand Canyon via Route 66! Museum itself seemed attractive and well maintained. Will definitely come again!

Very nice museum telling you the complete story of traveling and transportation from the early days till the present. Theres also a small exhibition of electrical vehicles in the basement. The museum has a general shop with souvenirs and a dedicated shop wth Route 66 stuff. Very friendly and helpful staff .

Nice they can reuse an old building like this and make it a tourist center that offers information and items for sale. Amazing how so many others flock to areas like this, and how the local businesses seem to not care. This place is very well laid out and worth the visit to see everything about route 66.

This is one of the better Route 66 museums, with a number of nice displays and considerable care given to the visitor experience. A lot of it focuses on the historic development of the trails and routes that became U.S. 66 and the eventual eclipse by I-40. There is an interesting movie.

The Visitor Center has a model train that wasnt operating. It appears the train track travels around much of the second level of the Center, and would be quite interesting to see it run. The Center has interesting photo displays, a 50s style diner and plenty of travel information.

Amazing place. If you are at all interested in Route 66, its beginnings as a wagon route and its ultimate demise and resurrection, this is worth checking out. Easy to find and near the freeway. $4, $3 for seniors. Maxing place.

Really nice visitors center with loss of free brochures including maps. Interesting museum with local history. Clean restrooms too. Ample parking. Right across the street is a small park and a restaurant. Right on Route 66.
